Some City products to be released in 2023 have been registered in the official website instruction.
The numbers are 60356 and 60358.

Ooooh! Will you send me the link please? I want an idea of what I should be looking forward to.

Awe man! No names. Bummer!

I checked the product certification because I didn't know what products these are, but there is no information yet.

Looks like we have a small image of the freight train, not bad but not my favourite

I wanted the locomotive to have the same design as 3677 but it's a little disappointing that it's not.
But Carrier Wagon looks great.

It looks like a mix between the last passenger train and the 2010 cargo train

The locomotive feels like a mixture of 7939 and 60098.

With the 2018 front pieces instead

As you can see, the front part looks like 60197.

Does it? To me it looks brick-built (possibly using this piece and this piece for the sides). Can't quite tell what's used to finish off the front and back of the engine.

On second thought, it seems so. Looking at the design, it's totally different.

Reminds me of those Siemens Taurus E-locomotives.

YOOOO!!!!!! Those was my exact thoughts. I think I'll heavily consider this one. I said on Instagram that my only  disappointment would probably be that the locomotive isn't black and says "Special Transport". That would make it a road going version of the aircraft carriers from 2018 and 2021.

How certain are we that this is actually real and not a joke?

  • The color scheme shouts "cheap Chinese ripoff".   The original leak said the engine was red.  None of the past train sets have been so pastel filled.
  • That is a huge number of included mini-figures, and not a lot of variety in them.  Has a past train set ever had that many figures in it?
  • It is shocking that a side-build or small building would not be included.   Even the passenger trains had at least  tiny little bench included.
  • The front wheels on the forklift look strange.  I have almost as many "set included" forklifts as I do helicopters, and this is a weird build.  Again makes me think it is a rip-off.

I think it is fake ...

I only have one disappointment. That's the fact that they told us that the locomotive was supposed to be red. But otherwise, I kinda like it.

The preliminary models were red, the preliminary models usually change small details like colors.

I hope more gets leaked soon and im curious to see if the 2023 sets are actually 2023 or a mistake and are 2022. I never saw any information on these sets so im not sure what they are

It’s great to see you here again!

I have been wondering the same way about the 2023 sets too. But it’s not just City theme here. I think other theme has set numbers for 2023 already.

Is the 60198 cargo train going to be retiring soon when this new one (60336) comes out? I haven't got it but I might have to hurry up and do so, I think it looks so much nicer with a much more enjoyable build vs this new one imo. I do like the car carrier wagon though the main train seems pretty basic, like two plane cockpits.
