Barn & Farm Animals 60346 sold for $69.99 for only 230 pieces, really a crazy price! In summer 2020, city 4+ airport 60261 was priced at $49.99 for 286 pieces, in summer 2021, city 4+ wildlife was priced at $ $59.99 for 157 pieces....inflation due to covid-19?

So the School has double points for the month. There is a rumour of double points on everything at the end of the month. So can you get quad points?

Finally it arrived... But damn, the box is soo thick. It's the same thick size as Creator Expert Ecto-1 box lol

I hear the school set is one of those sets that will be going into an early retirement this year. Let's be honest. The set wasn't even bound to sell. People obviously had so little hope for this set that second hand sellers and department stores were offering deals on this set like nobody's business. The set really made an impression among older audiences and it sold mostly to older audiences.

It’s becuase it’s a 4+ set that contains a lot of thick & big pieces. Also, it has so many new animals (calf, piglet, lamb) along with existing ones (cow, pig, sheep, squirrel and butterfly). I don’t think it has something to do with COVID? There is a price increase coming up as I heard rumors. 

I really love these animals but this set is just bleh for me to buy it. I will try to pick up animals separately.

I have yet to see a single deal on the school. Just the normal 20% off and that's even not as common as other sets.

What's the lowest price you can find for this set in your country? At the moment it's still selling for about USD $45 here so it is definitely not the time to get it. My guess is it will go down to $30 and then I will get a few copies for the animals.

There is a shop here selling only the school (without base plate) from the school set for $20 and no shipping is needed, new in bag. I'm hesitating.

here the farm sets only seem to be available in Smyths toy stores out of the big retailers. At least for day one! So might be a similar situation, lego stores and one preferred retailer

Found out that the farm sets here in Norway are limited to one retailer (+ Lego) in June and July. So that is really good news, I have no problem waiting a couple of months or more to get a better deal Hopefully it is the same in other countries as well, I am fine with exclusive retailer sets for a limited time compared to forever

I bought it directly from Lego shop, just one. But anyways, the bus is AWESOME! Train station is really fresh and modern. The boy minifig is also quite unique with different arm colors. But the bus... Oh boy. Love it!

official price is too high, it's now only selling for about $80 here in other unofficial shop, but I still keep waiting for a little bit.

It doesn’t look like there is a limited farm set? Just like we had Wildlife Rescue Camp set last year. And we had Jungle set (with tiger) back in 2017.

Actually, I’m not interested in the barn build itself. I am only interested in farm animals (cow, sheep, lamb, calf, pig, piglet). I will try to buy them (ignoring the whole set), like Pick a Brick or eBay or Bricklink.

I haven't got the 4+ wildlife set too, the animal is good but I really dislike the truck and other stuff. However, 4+ farm set this year is a lot better because I like everything else in addition to the animals!

So many interesting items in addition the animals this year. The last year one has nothing attractive except the lion.

We have got the new train and the new train station here but the price isn't the best, I am still waiting for discount later, I am not so worried about city sets. They never sell well in my area

Having picked up the 3 "Impulse" stunt bikes from the summer wave and the £18 Pirate bike one, I'm kinda on the fence about Stuntz as a sub theme. The Tub-bike and the plane bike are cool, but the figures seem more... plain then last years riders.

Minifigures may be plain but the cool thing is that one minifigure has tattoo on back.

Do you think that 60236 and 60237 (those old straight and curved plates) are still useful for today's city sets? They have real deal here that I want to get a few copies but I think it's hard for them to go well with new city sets right?

You forgot about the elephant!

The price for the barn (though high) is quite worth it in my opinion, if you care to look at Star Wars sets etc. in the same price category.

I just wish Lego makes some Australian animals one day.

I think it was just in reference to the 4+ set (so not elephant one)

Agreed re Australian animals. South America, and Asia are also poorly represented in Lego animal terms.
