Retro Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 (edited) My aim was to re-create the cover of Random Access Memories by Daft Punk. To that end, I built the front approximately two thirds of each helmet, as that was sufficient for me, and it also meant they could lie flat on the ground. Getting the two halves to line up correctly to match the original in terms of depth and perspective was tricky, so they are not joined together for the photos, so that I could experiment with small movements relative to each other. https://www.instagram.com/retro__chip/ Edited July 20, 2021 by Retro Quote
Raystafarian Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 A bit late, but I think that's pretty cool - good job. I'm sure the solid black faceplates were tricky, I wish Guy-Manuel's faceplate was more uniform, but I imagine you're using the tiles to reinforce the internal bricks. Missing a little bit of black around the "ear" portion too, but overall - great! Quote
