[K18 - Hoth - CS] The Rebels Try to Hold Hoth

The might of the Empire had been sent to Hoth. The Rebels prepared to defend their base until the transports could jump to hyperspace.

They gathered their forces and mounted Tauntauns.

Known for their hardiness in cold weather these creatures had been perfect for the rebels to get around the planet without drawing too much attention to themselves.

But against chicken walkers and AT-ATs the tauntauns had not chance. The Empire was slowly advancing on the shield and power generators.

So the Rebel Alliance sent out their speeders to try to talk down the walkers.

With the shield generator destroyed, the Rebels mounted one final defense.

The last of the transports was loading and the Imperial ground troops were advancing into the base. The Rebels laid down cover fire to keep the Imps at bay while the last of their forces fled the planet.

Great work MKJoshA and Jody Meyer, in the second picture, the walkers are extremely imposing and great composition, great detail all around, in the third photograph, the rockwall is extraordinarily done and I like the way the snow highlights have been integrated into the rockwork, and the tower is brilliant, especially the curved wall and the great radar dish assembly and the way the rock pieces are smoothly arranged around the base.
