Roses Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 6721 is among the oldest sets I have in my collection. I never used it for any MOCs but I always thought it used some of the coolest- and weirdest-looking pieces. Since I can probably count the sand-blue pieces I have in my parts collection on two hands (and a foot), I thought I would make a big ol' pair of mechanical legs to let the fish roam the land. You can see my MOCs on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/193467387@N03/albums/72157719697761644 Or on my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CSuG55onqeG/ Quote
Alix Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Brilliant idea with a good execution. Having the posture be something else than a upstanding humanoid really stands out. The water hose which "it" can actually grab is a nice detail too. I imagine it could've been easy to leave out, but it being there breathes so much life into the model. Quote
astyanax Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 AAAAAAH that's creepy! ...but I can't stop staring haha! Quote
Guyinaplaguemask Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 The way you did the teeth is incredible, how did you do it? Quote
Jerry McGlade Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Wow! I am amazed on how you used those pieces in that manner to create this amazing piece! Great job! Quote
Lego David Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Excellent blend of System and Bionicle pieces! Quote
Roses Posted August 28, 2021 Author Posted August 28, 2021 Thank you all for the nice comments! I used these five parts: However, it's an illegal technique because the size of the technic gears prevent the axle connector from fitting all the way into the three-axle hub. You have to either force the pieces a little bit or leave them semi-connected. Quote
Guyinaplaguemask Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Thank you, I might use this technique for one of my mocs Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Very Alien! I love how you did the mouth and the seamless transition between the more bionicle and system elements Quote
EmersonDAnite Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 I love the old dinosaur head use! Quote
