Unrealistic steering setups and wrong angles, as well as bad turning radius! The most annoying example being the 8110 Unimog!

And the lack of new steering parts like new hubs with realistic angles in the recent supercars.

Another vote for bad steering, which is also related to the bad wheel geometry.  13x20 Model Team wheels shouldn't be better in this respect than modern wheels, but they are.

You know, that there actually is a PU remote? :D (but it's a very rare thing, that's why they don't include it with sets I guess :X)

I don't know what you mean by rare, it's included in PU train sets, and also available separately both directly from Lego and from Bricklink. Not too expensive either, I just bought one for like 10€...

I know, it was a bad executed joke about the fact, that the remote is not included in technic sets :<

And on topic: Two more buttons on the PU remote would make things so much better....

Yeah, the remote falls short on having an actually wide usefulness, more buttons would be great, not to mention joysticks for proportional control...

I actually have that remote, but unfortunately it only has controls for an A and B port which isn’t very worthwhile  with larger technic sets, similar to how there was the speed controller and the regular remote for PF, while the speed control is great for driving for steering it isn’t as great nor is it for other functions

Yeah, there was discussion about this in the Contro+ topic. You can control the Technic hub with Pybricks, but setting it up is a bit of a hassle.

LAs exist! I want more pneumatics!

Also, wheels are too wide yet their hubs are too shallow. They need a much more positive offset. Imagine a truck wheel, 81mm diameter but probably only 20mm wide, with enough positive offset in the rim to be able to pin two back to back without any spacer, and still have a small gap between the tyres, like on a real dually truck! This wheel would be great for trucks, pick ups, cranes, all sorts.

Too much internal gearing in the motors. Isn't one of the points of Technic that I get to build all the mechanics?! 

Their insistence on making colour coding look like colour vomit. I don't mind colour coding but use more tasteful colours. Bright red, bright blue, orange, lime, magenta etc are not tasteful. 

Colour coded pre cut pneumatic tubes. Would be much better, look much better and possibly even more cost effective to have them all black and include a sticker sheet with coloured/numbered bands to wrap around the hose about 8mm from each end. And instead of pre cutting (and TLG having to store multiple lengths and colours of hose), just supply one long length in black with enough spare for any mishaps. This would (I think) be more cost effective and us fans could potentially buy long uncut lengths for our MOCs.

Pneumatics only coming in yellow.

Always doing the usual twin wishbone suspension. Why not add McPherson for a realistic hot hatch, or leaf spring for a realistic truck.

No mechanically realistic helicopters, or elegant ways to make them. Myself and others have made more realistic MOC helicopters but the main cyclic/collective mech never seems quite as elegant as it could be.

TLGs misunderstanding of 18+ and build for real. Build for real shouldn't just be "it looks like a real bulldozer". That's fine for creator but this is Technic. It should WORK like a real bulldozer. You won't find LAs on a real bulldozer. Mechanical authenticity is more important than simply looking authentic. Also, with Technic, 18+ shouldn't be just bigger and more expensive. Make a model so awesome in its mechanical nature and detail that it has to be that big, like the bucket wheel excavator, NOT like this year's CAT. They wanna make an 18+ excavator, well it better be RC pneumatic with rams that are at least 15 stud long retracted!

Nope, knob wheels are usually the most aggravating detail on any Technic set, period.

Yeah, cranks are easier to turn fast. On the other hand (), you will often need an extra hand to stabilize the model when turning the crank. That is not necessary when turning a knob.

I'm not the instigator, therefore i'm slightly less guilty. Every time a set appears, what do you hear?! "oooo i hate c+", "ooo i could better", "ooo colour vomit"... Everything was better when everything was worse according the 'wise ones'. Well guess what?!!!! Technic was WORSE in the past... I've had technic since 1978, i know of what i speak. Todays technic is the stuff of wet dreams to the lego fans of the 70's, 80's and 90's. If this forum was a pub or a coffee shop, no one go in!!! 

Will i apologise for bitching about being sick of listening to meaning whiners?!! No will i hell. Am i wrong to defend TLG against this loud minority? No i'm not... I thought the 'F' in afol stood for Fans?!!! Ha!!
