Hoping that purple space torso means a new Classic Spaceman colour is on it's way soon. That's exactly what I'm using the bard for! As for the Purple Spaceman body I'm going with, he's the villain? I'm just wondering what head to use? (and black helmet of course) Quote
Lion King Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 I’m not sure why it’s not still on Lego S@H website yet after we had first-look images…? Quote
steveholt Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Parts are interesting this series. Lots of useful stuff. Quote
Robert8 Posted December 12, 2021 Author Posted December 12, 2021 Series 22 hasn't been officially revealed, right? Quite odd since these are supposed to be released 3 weeks from today Quote
zinnn Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 I will probably buy the Birdwatcher for the toucan and her legs - both will be used in my pirates setup :) But maybe it'll be better to bricklink them instead? Will see. Don't care about any other minifigs from this series much... Quote

Clone OPatra Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Perhaps they are going for an official reveal on the same day as the review embargo, like they sometimes do. That was the case for the Boutique Hotel, for instance. Quote
The Reader Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 They have been officially revealed. Quote

Lion King Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Hmmm “Robot Repair Tech”? I wonder what kin of head under that helmet? Quote
AmperZand Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 (edited) I don’t know if this is widely known but the night protector (moon warrior) has a dual printed head with an open smile on one side and a closed-mouth smirk with frown on the other. The snow guardian (snow warrior) also has a dual printed head with a frown on one side and a more neutral expression on the other. The troubadour (bard) has upper arm printing. Clone OPatra Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 A couple days ahead of the review embargo, classic... Seeing all the details of this series, I have to say it really does have the high standard of quality that we've come to expect. When I saw the initial leaflet leak I wasn't sure, but these are wonderful, abounding in printed arms, dual moulding, dual expressions, etc. Most of the new moulds are pretty neat as well. Perhaps some of the choices could've been more inspired, but overall, great series. Now I really just wish we could get more than one non-licensed series per year. Quote

If he got it through LAN, LAN would be mad, so I don't think it came from LAN. What I meant is, classic that LEGO has revealed the series themselves and someone has obtained it, yet the review embargo is still a couple days away. Quote

Chili Costume Fan? Raccoon Costume Fan? What exactly are they fans of? The costumes? Also surprised the Acorn Guy/Forest Spirit got named "Forest Elf." That name makes me think of something much more classic fantasy oriented, along the lines of LOTR or the series 3 Elf (or series 9 Forest Maiden). Space Creature is also an odd choice, although I guess they don't have many options left after already using Space Alien, Classic Alien, etc. Quote
AmperZand Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 @Robert8, Thank you for the link! Very cool There are lots of spare parts such as an extra sword for the moon warrior, additional coin and two plumes for the troubadour (bard), cheese slope for the chilli costume girl, mushroom head and staff for the forest elf (acorn boy), medal for the paralympian, carrot stem for the groom (foal girl), binoculars for the ornithologist, ice skate and trans clear jump/flight piece for the ice skater, blaster round 1x1 trans piece for the snailien, drill bit for the yellow robot and eye for the small, red robot. There are some bags-within-bags. The foal, for example, is loose in its packet, but the groom minifigure comes in her own trans clear bag. The packets seem to be grouped together in the display box such that, for example, the snow guardians and troubadours are all clustered on the front right. Funny that in the video, the reviewer got the assembly of the ice skater wrong and only gave him one skate Quote
Borex Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Argh the video was so bad. Does he ever have played with lego before? Does he know anything about the world he lives in? Ughhhh. And so slow, and he should have zoomed in more. But anyway, i love the snailian and because of the video i love the moon warrior as well. She looks great! Night Protector feels like a fitting name by the way. Protecting our dreams, so they won’t become nightmares. Quote
