Siegfried Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Very nice! To get in first; does it have an interior? Any detail shot of the treads? Quote
Benk Posted June 15, 2008 Author Posted June 15, 2008 Thanks sinner There is no interior as the body is made in a really funny way . I'm not sure what bit of the treads you want a pic of maybe this will help. If not I can always take more -Benk Quote
Tanotrooper Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 And she's a beauty! Very nice and sleek looking tank. TT Quote
Brainbox Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Wow, very nice. Very accurate, with some neat building techniques. And I have to say, I like the Tank Comander. You know, I really should try building a tank... Quote
Stauder Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Your tanks are great Benk! Like I said in your last tank topic, this one is a nother work of art. You say the body is build up wierdly, can we see a semy-dis-assambled piccie? Staudie. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Very nice, sleek and detailed! Love the gun Quote
Benk Posted June 16, 2008 Author Posted June 16, 2008 Thanks you 4! @Stauder I just took one, as you can see the turret has a built up center as it is 9 wide. the main body also HAS to have that thing in the middle for support: Hope that helps (please give credit if you steal borrow any techniques) -Benk Quote
Stauder Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 That is a very clever design, and not to worry, I dont neary have the parts in the right colours to re-build that. As said before, great work! Staudie. Quote
Lasse D Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 I just took a google pictures search for reference. Wow! It is incredible accurate compared to the real thing, and in that relatively small size you have chosen, I'm genuinely amazed. Good job! Quote
Quarryman Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Wow. Trying hard to find something to criticise, but I fail completely. Just one question, how have you made the road wheels? I see that it's a dish 2x2, but what are they attached to on the inside? And I think it's one of the first (maybe the first) LEGO tanks I've seen that I don't feel is too high, well done! ...now I really must finish my own tank design (too bad all my tank parts are 500+ km away ) Quote
Jessica Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Wow, my favorite tank and in lego form? I'm in heaven, that's fantastic. Quote
