Hi there

Just found this forum and it looks like a good place to be! I've tried other Lego forums before and always seem to find them a bit quiet for my liking. There seems to be a bit more activity round here!

I have always been into Lego and my main interest is 1980s and 1990s Town, Castle & Pirate sets although I have a few Space, Technic and others knocking about too. TBH - I only really like sets if minifigs are involved - Who hasn't done a minifig conversion on a Model Team set?? ;-)

Currently have 79 sets ranging from the late 70s up until last week but don't have the room to set them all up :-(

I also play about with LDD quite a bit - And get very annoyed when they change the parts available and I can't upload my designs anymore!!

Anyway, must carry on catching up on all the posts...

Cheers

There's certainly more activity here than other forums.

I especially like the news and product availability information here too

Thanks for all the welcomes guys!

I will have a look for any photos of my Model Team conversions but these were done in the days before digital cameras (feeling old now!) so I'm not sure what I've got. I guess that I could just do it all over again.... :classic:

I don't have any trains at the moment but keep nearly buying a monorail!! Also, did you know you can build a (nearly) perfect replica of the 7822 railway station c1980 using LDD. Comes in at about £60. I've got the LXF if anyone is interested...

Cheers

Would you be interested in doing picture reviews for any of those old sets? We'd love to have them.
