Any tips on uploading photos to threads? It gives me a very small size cap that makes the pictures minuscule.

Use Flickr, Eurobricks isn't a hosting site, therefore you have to use external ones. Personally, I suggest Flickr. Just upload the image and afterwars copy the link, paste into here and it will show up itself. I think that yer build could gain a little extra popularity on Flickr too, if you know the right groups that is. :pir-grin:

Thank you, I'll give it a try. Which ones are the right groups then? :D

Well for starters there is group titled LEGO which is the biggest one out there. Also a Eurobricks group is a thing, along with ones like A LEGO Life, Lego: Anything and Everything. Since this is a Harry Potter build, few of those Lego Harry Potter groups would be in order. I myself have joined Lego Harry Potter: minifigures and creations, though it seems rather small, you can search Lego Harry Potter in groups and few will show up. I'm sure there are few advanced building groups but I have no knowledge of them. That's all I can say for now.

Latest update

Finally I had the time to see your new updates and I fear I'm going to be repetitive cause I really like your building.  Particularly I appreciate the two colour brick pattern you released for the exterior part; I think that it gives the building a touch of realism.

If I understood right  you're thinking about going on with great stairscase tower... a very important challenge !

For the moment I think that you did a very good work and when you'll finishing Great Hall and Main Courtyard you'll have reached a notable milestone . Great Hall plus Main Courtyard would work very well even as a stand alone.

Thank you!

I am still thinking of how to tackle the Grand Staircase and more importantly how to add things inside. I've seen some people just doing an empty shell to begin with and that's just not the way I like to do things.

Anyway, I am probably going to do a big overview of everything once the Great Hall section is done/nearly done, to show everything. :)

Once again thank you for the encouragement!

It's always a pleasure to see your progress in this building. In the end, I suppose you could put a statue depicting you near the Hogwarts architect one .

If building with LEGO is a lot about fantasy and considering fantasy is at home in Hogwarts, why don't use fantasy to fill all the empty places within the well recognizable Hogwarts architecture? A long sentence just to say that I like that you personalised Hogwarts adding Jafar and his hideout. It's a nice easter egg... is he plotting to take the control of the school or is he just the new alchemy professor :snicker:?

I wish you a happy new year and a good time building with LEGO .

Thank you once again BrickMatit for the kind words, you are one of my most vocal followers!

I also think it is a good idea to include such easter eggs, as long as it is not too forced, and there is some thought put into it.

Hopefully soon, once my channel grows a little more, I will be able to show my appreciation to people like you by having an avatar minifig of them into the castle. Hopefully that will be soon. :)

I just thought I'd say, I've been watching the progress for a while and I think it's amazing the amount of work you're putting into this project. I cannot wait for the end result so keep bricking away I guess

Many thanks! It will not be done any time soon, though. :pir-grin:

“Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases. They like to change...”

Nice to see your building update again.

I think you're doing a really great work.

Oh, well, I knew that the Grand Staircase Tower was big, but I didn't imagine sooooooooo big :snicker:.

A challenging challenge!

I can't wait to see how you'll build it, but take your time!

I am trying to figure out just how many staircases I want. Don't want to have a hollow tower filled 100% with staircases, but will see how it turns out. :)

I like how that roof has come along. I imagine it will be quite the sight to behold when minifigures will be placed in the courtyard. :pir-thumb:

Hopefully soon!

Been watching the last few and loved the latest update the roof work looks great, spectacular work on the build. Do you have any other way to follow along with the build or just the youtube videos?

Glad you find it interesting. I have an instagram as well, but the best way is to follow the videos really. I really want to document the process and be able to see how things evolve over time. :)

It’s bewitched to look like the sky outside. I read about it in Hogwarts: A History.

Finally, with the roof, Hogwarts students, professors and staff will be able to have their meals without the soups being diluted by the rain and their clothes becoming soaked  :snicker:

So beautiful the view from the Corridor to the Entrance Hall window. I suppose you will put the Architect Statue below the window.

Very good

Yes indeed. I have the architect minifig, just haven't gotten to placing it there yet. Once I am done with the whole roof, looking forward to placing some interior!
