Anyway, I uploaded pictures to Flickr today,

I saw it, good work on it. I can hardly recognise the source material which, in this case, is a good thing. :pir-thumb:

Thanks! I'm currently tweaking it in places and adding junk to make it look lived in. I've got a mummy's sarcophagus, a bunch of crates, a few barrels, and a new piece of wall art for the place. Oh,  I almost forgot: the lost Ark is hidden away in there somewhere. (Just don't open it - you have been warned! :pir-skel: ) With the sign removed to order later, and the crane being already built, I had 1,565 parts to find originally, but an now down to 1,091 left to find or order. For those that want to see what the digital WIP looks like as of a few days ago, here you go. The model should be finished in October or November.

Has anybody thought about using this pretty new Speed Champions base for building some Adventurers' cars (part no. 3385):

3385.png

Like the old classic cockpit piece it has 5W inside (two minifgs side by side), but is 6w outside. I'm aware that this modern base is slightliy wider than the old piece (because of the SNOT studs on the sides) but I think I'll buy one on BL and give it a try.

That's a absolutely brilliant idea - I wonder why nobody had thought of that before! Be sure to keep us updated @The Reader! If you need ideas / inspiration, it might look good in an updated version of set 7682 - Shanghai Chase:

If you do do this, be sure to make instructions or something - I know quite a few people (myself included) who would KILL for a update to this set!

Well, that's too much a honour. But thanks, I'll give it a try. It's an absolutely weird part but perhaps it's of good use for Johnny and the gang.

Some of the D&D CMFs have some good outfits for adventurers such as the Ranger, Tasha, and the Druid. Also, some of the heads would make great treasures or temple decorations such as the golden dragon head, the trans. red skull, or the Lady of Pain’s mask!

What about using her mask for a jungle tribal chief?

I’d be careful about using random pieces to represent tribal cultures, but yeah, I could see her being used as a leader or priestess or something.

If @The Reader uses the mask for his purple-skinned tribe, I don't think they're would be a problem. Those figs don't seem to be based on real humans anyway...

@Oky @Murdoch17 I was thinking about something like this - just the priest, not that certain sacrifice scene (and no insult meant to any real people or tribes):

Besides the obvious in the first picture... this is a nice example that shows it looks good in a tribal theme. If I was to do it myself I would include some similar colours on the rest of the figure though to make it fit a little better, like the hands or waist. Pearl gold but not sure what the other is... sand green?

I think some of accessories from D&D CMF are great for adventuers and museum exhibit Mocs! Just like Ninjago’s golden dragon statue/idol for temple or museum.

40746 Santa’s Delivery Truck will make for a nice Adventurers vehicle once you mod it to be a bit less colorful.

Yes, I have the figs and can confirm it’s sand green.

Didn't think about it yet, but regonized it today: The stands of the D&D CMF minifigs are useful, too:

True, although the black center stripe limits its usefulness somewhat. Maybe if you stack them with an offset, they’ll make for some nice rocky steps.

Ok, that makes it go from a 'meh' to 'must-build', and I haven't even seen it yet! Thanks for the idea @Oky!

From the January 2025 City wave, set 60447 Off Road 4x4 Mountain Truck (221 pcs., 19,99 €) looks cool. Not sure about the map the minifig hold in her/his hands - does it fit to the four maps of the summer 2024 jungle explorer sets?

Not sure about the map but certainly a similar style. One of the soap box cars has a minifigure that could potentially fit in well as a Harry Cane pilot too.

Yes, and I like especially this "plane style"-soap box car.

The new Pippin Reed hat from the Orient Express is now in the new modular building. Hopefully it will find its way to PaB now.

The guy second from right with the scissors might be used as a young Dr. Lightning:

Just a little detail, but the pressure dial in the Steampunk Inventor's gear would look great on the instrument panel/dashboard of an adventure vehicle and the legs would not look out of place in a custom adventurer figure.

It also depends on the flavour of adventure you like, but the brown "paper hat" would look perfect for characters with a military background. (Saw it in a post about online PaB/BaM parts).
