Unless Promobricks has updated their info, what they said was if a Kaminoan was coming it could come in the Obi-Wan starfighter. Pretty sure that rumor has not been confirmed.

Their Instagram post states that Taun We will be included in the set, not if.

I'd be surprised if the AT-TE wasn't based on AOTC as well. It lines up with how Lego made a system-scale AT-AT for the anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back a few years ago.

Side note, but seeing some of the footage from The Skywalker Saga game really makes me want more Padme figures. She's probably the Star Wars character with the most outfits and we've gotten maybe four of them in Lego form including the Queen Amidala dress. We've also only gotten like one Padme figure within the last five years which is just mind blowing for a main character, like how Lando doesn't come in a lot of sets. (though that's changed somewhat in recent years). The different Padme figures in the game look great so hopefully they throw some of them into the occasional prequel sets we get over the next few years.

I am not sure that we can tell much about the AT-TE from other sets that have been released. An AotC version would go with the Clone command centre accessory pack, the UCS Gunship, Obi-Wan’s starfighter, and the 20th anniversary of the film. That said, while AotC is the most famous film appearance of the AT-TE, the vehicle also appears quite prominently in TCW (where a (rumoured) Dwarf Spider Droid would also fit), and since the Republic Fighter Tank shows that LEGO is willing to make TCW-style arm prints and new clone units, a TCW-based set is also a definite possibility.
As for a TBB-inspired AT-TE, while the least likely option of the three (due both to the rumoured presence of the Dwarf Spider Droid and to the fact that the Imperial AT-TE has thus far only had one appearance), it is not entirely out of the question. Cad Bane’s ship is widely believed to be the Justifier (likely due to the price), so LEGO is making at least one TBB set this wave. An ideal Minifig lineup for the set would include Nala Se, who needs a new Kaminoan headpiece, so LEGO could be spreading the cost of the new mould across multiple sets by including Taun We in Obi-Wan’s JSF (who also appears in the same TBB arc as the Justifier).
In short, I think that speculation upon what the AT-TE is going to be based on is largely pointless, as there are multiple realistic possibilities, so we should probably wait until we get more information or images leak.

It was featured very prominently in an episode of The Bad Batch, so that’s the other serious option at the moment. But you also just never know; the Republic Fighter Tank is a perfect example of a set that came way out of left field and isn’t based on any recent media. AotC is probably the most likely, but I wouldn’t put money on it before we see the set.

Bad Batch originally seemed like it might be a possibility, but Promobricks mentioned that it comes with a Dwarf Spider droid, so unless it's based on something from the next season then it wouldn't really make sense.

Has anyone else seen that blurry AT-TE box art image? Is it real? I can’t find the original source.

Based off of these past few months I would guess its fake, especially because its suspiciously close to April Fools

Dwarf spider droids did appear in the flashbacks in the first episode of TBB. But mostly I’m just pointing out that LEGO tends not to track that kind of thing very closely. Like with the 187th troopers and the Fighter Tank (which have never previously been associated), or Cad Bane showing up in a Turbo Tank, or making the most recent Homing Spider Droid a Kashyyyk set (they didn’t appear on Kashyyyk), they’ve never hesitated to mix and match stuff from different contexts.

Sure, but if it’s from the Bad Batch that means it’s likely an Imperial AT-TE, and even Lego wouldn’t have a Separatist droid in an Empire based set.

We all saw the post on front page? Do we reckon there’s a contest to be announce Friday? I’m hoping it’s a set reveal tbh.

Took me a second to figure out what you were talking about, but don't get your hopes up for a set reveal, lmao. Eurobricks is a fan run site and I can't remember the last time, if ever, that it's done an official collaboration with lego in such a manner.

Not a set reveal but do keep an eye out for ways to win sets. More coming up!

(FWIW we do/did used to get some access to press releases like other RLOC and RLFM, but that's the extent of set reveals)

Hopefully Padme will be among the figures included in the upcoming AT-TE. Its frustrating that even after two decades we still haven't gotten a single figure of her Theed Battle, Mustafar and unripped Geonosis costumes yet. They really need to step up and push those three out ASAP.

I would love to see a new Naboo N-1 or Duel of the Fates including Padme in her Theed Battle outfit. There are honestly a fair few sets she could appear in. The Mustafar costume is a bit more limited, as it could only come in the Battle of the Heroes duel (though there definitely is some more they could do with that). I'd love to see a droid factory set with Geonosis Padme.

Theed and Geonosis I agree, but Mustafar makes sense, considering she's not on screen for long in that outfit and all she does is get choked out by anakin. She'd really only make sense in a set based off her ship, and while I forget if it's the same one in episode 2 or not, if it's the same one as in episode 2 an episode 2 based one would be more likely, and if it's different it's more likely we'd get her episode 2 ship anyway.

The ships are different. AOTC opening scene is a J-type diplomatic barge. ROTS on Mustafar is a J-type star skiff. The one taken to Tatooine and then Geonosis in AOTC is an H-type nubian yacht.

If the $530 D2C does turn out to be a Master Builders Series, How many minifigures/characters can we expect to see? Also, I was not part of the leaking community in 2020, when did we start to get more leaks on the Mos Eisley Cantina?

Well, if memory serves (which it may not due to the fact I tried blocking late 2020), we had a big thing in late July where we thought the Cantina was a remake of the UCS Imperial Shuttle, and a week or two after that we found out that was bs, and it was really the Cantina. I think we got our first images of it on like September first, although those were not amazing photos. As for minifigs, assuming it's MBS, I would guess around 20, give or take 3, but I could be very easily wrong, and someone else will certainly have prepared an extremely thorough analysis on this subject.

Thanks. So yeah, highly doubt we'll get the J-type barge, and by extension mustafar padme, at least not for a decade or so. We'd totally get an H-type first, and even that isn't the most well known ship, with the chrome likely giving lego some trouble.

I'd assume around 25-30 figures given the increased price and that it might be a remake/update of the death star, which had 25 figures IIRC.

Yeah, as far as I remember this is a solid timeline. @jdubbs also had some nice hints around that august timeframe about Ponda Baba and some other characters that would be included.

Updated Death Star is not what I'd want but I'm glad it'll satisfy some people looking for it.

The next MBS being a Death Star remake just seems unlikely to me. It would be too redundant to release one so soon after the 18+ Trash Compactor which is a pretty expensive set in its own right.

Given the recent release of the skywalker saga videogame, has anyone else noticed that the Falcon is missing the sensor dish when flying around?

Oh my gosh, I thought no one else was ever going to notice. I noticed this ages ago in the first gameplay leak. I haven’t played the game myself as of yet (although I have secured myself a copy) so I don’t know for sure, but I think it’s just the OT falcon that has this problem. I think the 2 sequel ones are fine and the ep 9 one is close enough to the OT one with the round dish that you could just use that one if you don’t want it to have the missing dish. I hope this problem is fixed in a patch soon.

Do we know anything about the May 4th GWP yet?

I think it was said to include an exclusive minifigure, not sure if it'd just be a minifig or if it'd have more to go with it.
