If anyone was planning on buying the AT-AT or Millennium Falcon however, it would make more sense to wait for double VIP points down the line in order to save $40 or $45.

I'm planning on getting yoda's hut, two snowtrooper battle packs...and I guess $40 more of stuff given that the Beru set is gonna be pretty expensive on the aftermarket. Hoping for a clone pack, but I doubt they'll be in stock. My brother loves purple, so maybe I'll get the tank too.

Although, what is it actually made of? ABS Plastic? Cheap metal? It almost looks like stained wood to be honest.

As much as I didn’t want a UCS Landspeeder, I have to admit it doesn’t look bad at all. I’m not going to race to go get it but I’ll definitely pick it up eventually.

I think I recently posted to the wishlist thread that I wanted a Lars Homestead. This GWP is one of the best I’ve seen and think it has great value and a beautiful build. 
 

As for the double VIP points, is this company wide for a period or exclusively for star wars day? Do other themes have select double VIP point sets for an upcoming double VIP event or is this part of the star wars day promotion exclusively? Hope that made sense

 

In any event I still need the Bad Batch Shuttle, Mandalorian Starfighter. and AAT, so I’ll likely hold off for the double points to get them. That said I am bummed to see the 501st battle pack was omitted from the list. For a list mostly comprised of soon to retire sets, the exclusion of an army building set I would have gladly bought multiples of on this event feels silly. That feels like the most obvious set to include on a promotion like this.

Has anyone else noticed the Republic Fighter Tank has been removed from S@H? Should we be concerned? That was the primary set I was planning to get on May 4th. Also, I'm really hoping they can get the Clone Minifig pack back in stock but I won't hold my breath on that one.

It was gone for me earlier (Canada) but is back now

The Landspeeder is actually a good set, just isn’t exciting. Should be a little cheaper imo.

I agree. If it were somewhere between $150 and $180, I think LEGO would see a lot more people willing to purchase it.

I had the exact same thought. I don't usually buy more than one of an army builder, but I actually was considering picking up another one or two of them. It not being a part of the deal doesn't make much sense to me, but if I had to guess Lego probably didn't bother because they know it'll sell either way.

That’s a good point I haven’t seen a lot of other people point out. This Double VIP list is practically all of the smaller Star Wars sets, but the one they don’t include on here is arguably one of the strongest sellers. (Though a lot of the hype has worn off and a lot of stores tend to have plenty of copies of the set…) Lego knows what they’re doing and it’s really crappy. Not including D2Cs and new sets is one thing, but actively omitting this set in particular grinds my gears even more

Also, am I the only one who is just seeing little to no hype for the Landspeeder? I see more discussion and hype for the May the 4th promos than I do this set lol.

I'm sure some people are excited but its a set that was expected to happen eventually. Its good for what it is but there's pretty much nothing special about it.

The May 4th sets have been $199.99 for ages now, so I assume it's just that given the size of the curved bricks and the $200 price, it ended up being a bit too small. If they felt the need to keep the $200 price, I wish they'd have put like a to-scale R2 or more figures or something, but as-is, it's not terrible.

Idk, they seem to line up with what we heard already and are exactly what I was expecting. I believe that 75334 and 75336 were already confirmed to be Kenobi series sets. Presumably [Spaceship from Kenobi] is referring to the Inquisitor Ship from the concept art and teaser, which seemed like the most likely thing to get as a set from what we’ve seen of the show so far. Having what is presumably an [Obi-Wan Darth Vader] duel set makes sense considering how much they’re hyping up the rematch between those two characters. The Justifier is the most notable Cad Bane ship and is from a currently running series, The Bad Batch. We already knew about 75333 as the Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter. They’re all pretty safe guesses. FalconFan and Childish Landino both reposted this I believe.

 

I still don’t understand how The Justifier can be done at such a size and price point. I’m not a big PPP guy but it’s rumored to have between 1000-1100 pieces for $160! That’s crazy. It’ll come with cool minifigures for sure but it sounds like a set that I’ll wind up waiting for a sale or saving up my VIP points for it after I get the UCS Star Destroyer this fall.

I believe the justifier and Delta-7 were also rumored by promobricks, and IIRC the kenobi ones were known as kenobi, but not the specific contents. This Wagner site seems to be just confirming stuff that's already leaked or been rumored. Interestingly this site supposedly has the great pyramid set on it, which was only "leaked" by.... dun dun dun.... codyleaks. So either he's just been mooching off this site, it's just a coincidence that both he and wagner's had the pyramid, or he's somehow gotten real insider information after a ton of previous fake leaks (like cody being the May the Fourth Promo...so I doubt it's that third one.)

Couldn't what everyone originally thought would be an Obi-wan (show)  set is actually one of these 18+ Diorama type sets that is Vader vs Obi-wan from Episode 4? They seem to be on a roll for the OT dioramas. Vader's Meditation Chamber, Yoda's Hut, Trash Compactor, Death Star Run, why wouldn't they do one of the biggest scenes from the very first movie?

I am shocked 60 euro difference between  The Justifier and Spaceship from Kenobi for only 100 more pieces in Justifier? Is it the most overpriced set ever or we get something special like extra minifig?
