Selling the promo (Idk if it's still there): I know the skywalker saber went for alot and while the tatooine homestead is currently only around $20, if it's anything like the others it'll trend up to $60-70 after release (I sold a used endor one in 2020 for $70) can offset the cost a little bit, and the VIP points are a lot too, though of course in that case you're still spending that much money, it's just that you'll get other sets cheaper. I know it's not much, but every bit helps, right? I sold my death star for this, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it, but you're right that it's gonna take up a lot of space. It's better than the cantina or gunship in that it's easier to fit on a shelf, but it's by no means easy. The box is currently taking up half my desk, I'm trying with all my willpower to wait to open it until Christmas.

Its footprint is def more polite - but at 25" tall - yeah...he's a big boy.

Apologies if this has been brought up already, but are there more sets yet to be revealed for January? As things stand it’s a pretty sparse release month with what’s been shown so far.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there are any sets left for January. We still have quite a few sets to be revealed that we know about, but I think those are coming out March or later.

In the states the snowtrooper pack is being released - I know cause I'm going to pick up two for my AT-AT :)

I bought a new shelving system to put it on. And now I have another two shelves to fill with other things.

Less than a week to go before I can start the real construction. I already have it half built in Stud.io

Nothing big, but 75339, one of the May sets, is 90€. This and 75342 (40€) are two mysterious sets releasing in May. 

Could they be Obi-Wan Kenobi sets? There is also a TBoBF set in May, but we know it's a Boba Fett set. We know nothing about these two.

There's also the Garbage Compactor, but I don't know if it would fit the prices.

I don’t have info on the trash compactor, but I assume it would fit the price. 

The fighter tank exists. Whether it translates into a set is another matter. But the key is, the rumour has not been plucked from nowhere.  Not sure if it’s this set number, however.

It’s that time pre-release when it seems everyone in US is picking up the new sets early from an unnamed local toy store according to reddit. Happens every release cycle.
In the UK these sort of shops barely exist, if anyone know of somewhere In UK they are available early, please dm me! :)

I haven't seen any reliable leakers confirm its existence, unless you're just saying its a thing.

A rumor/leak is just that...it's not fact. Don't care if you trust the source or not. You could swear on it.

But the moment you are found a fool - a fool you remain for trusting such things.

You would be wise to treat such things as a possibility but push it no further.

if its not first party sourced - its not worth my time. You will save yourself a lot of drama and stress when you keep such things in mind.
Even if your "Source" was reliable - all it takes is one mistake to derail the whole thing.

I've lost count how many times people said one thing only for it to be one other thing and I'm standing there smiling pointing at their words.

That is all fine. I’ve been on this forum for over 7 years. Rarely, if at all, have I ever claimed I have/know info. If I’ve put it on here it means I am confident of the information. I have zero reason to lie or do it for attention.

Remind me again which source said this was coming? I can't find it on childish landino, fulcrum, or falconfan's instagram pages, and clearly jdubbs is skeptical. Did I just not go back far enough in their post history, or is there a reliable source I'm missing?

Are you implying that you have information on this, or just saying you trust the source that much?

Yup, and even formerly reliable guys can be misled. Sirvonlego with the v-19 torrent and stuff, or in a different area, a very reliable leaker swore up and down a character would appear in the wandavision show, and they never did.

I have information but only to say that the Republic Fighter Tank has not come from nowhere. That does not mean the set will be released - could be cancelled etc. 

The info is from the source. I don’t know anything else. The source has been reliable for 2021/22 sets - that is for certain.

For the record I'm just saying that rumors often do spring up from thin air, with no basis in reality.

I've heard nothing about a Republic Tank aside from people talking about it here. That's not to say it isn't real... there are plenty of ways it could show up — sets that aren't known or set numbers earmarked for store exclusives, etc. — but in my experience, rumors that have no basis other than chatter on EB or an anonymous post on IG almost always turn out to be bunk. No offense to anyone here.

I think it was GreekBricks, who first rumoured the Jabbas Boba Fetts Palace and some of the other earlier sets, none of the other reliable leakers, and none of the major leakers at all, have said it

He did leak that aswell as that modular set recently too. I don’t have info from him, but the fact he is saying it too makes my info a little stronger in my eyes. 

NOTE I AM NOT SAYING THE SET WILL BE RELEASED, but the fighter tank exists. It might be long gone, I don’t know.

The best way I can describe the tank rumor is a case of post info now ask questions second in order to be first. Sadly that “style” has become more and more “popular” these days and as a result a lot of “half baked info” will pop out. I’ll say as of rn I don’t believe it to be true and everyone I have talked to wouldn’t put their name on the rumor either. It might end up being true which wouldn’t be a bad thing
