To be fair, not only did they do a massive push for rebels, like nearly 10 sets in january 2015 alone (contributing to why they're so timid about making animated sets now), but apparently the gunship was supposed to feature more prominently, like the scout walker crawler in TLJ, and ended up being almost entirely cut. This is something I doubt was in the works before BB, MUCH more expensive, and as a result of stuff like the wookie gunship, they're much more worried about making animated sets. Just seems weird is all.

Not his ship. Love Cad Bane, not paying $160 for a ship from one episode of a show because he's in it. You think a kid's gonna do that?

 

Now I could be totally wrong, as lego's done weird stuff in the past, but it's pretty rare at this price point. You put together the relative obscurity of the ship, the cost of the set, the size of the ship, lego's hesitation around animated sets, and it just seems really unlikely.

Lmao, perhaps Grogu was held captive there and Obi-Wan rescues him while Vader was busy elsewhere and uses Jedi mind therapy on Grogu to make him forget.

Hopefully though it will have more to do with dealing with Vader/Inquisitors looking for Jedi to hunt down in the aftermath of Order 66 and guarding Luke from yet unknown dangers. After all that was his job so he kind of has to stick around on the planet. Also there could be some tie-ins to Rebels as a bridge to a possible continuation of the ending of that show which we expect them to do sooner or later.

Honestly, I don’t think we can say too much about Bane’s ship yet. If it’s the Justifier, it’s definitely worth being an at least $90 set, and the piece count lines up with that. We also don’t know what else it includes. It could easily have some other pieces or new moulds/factors that change things. I can’t think of too many other ships/items they could include with it for desirability though…
 

If not though, it’s definitely the Gozanti of this wave- likely exclusive/desired figures and/or variants in an expensive set no one really wanted…

I get that, completely. But I think Bane as a figure would be the draw, and it most likely will have Omega too. The ship is also very cool. Th Justifier might be in Bad Batch 2 also. Yes, the price point is odd but I think people will dig it for these reasons. Goes well with the Havoc Marauder too.

Frankly, I expect it to have Hunter, Bane, his droid (whose name I’m forgetting), Omega, and Fennec with helmet at least, which definitely make it a desirable set figure-wise.

$160 for Cad Bane’s ship is interesting. It would make a bit more sense if he shows up again in Season 2. I really don’t like the fact that Omega is likely going to be stuck in such an expensive set.

No one wanted a Gozanti? That’s probably my favourite Imperial ship design-wise, and it can double as a civilian transport.

just speculation at the moment, but with the AT-TE, it feels inevitable

The bad ppp for $140 could also be justified by new moulds and prints for the bubble turrets, but that's even more speculation

I more meant that when it released, it wasn't the greatest set of the wave to take up the flagship spot. LEGO put Sabine's helmet exclusively in it to make it desirable in figures, but people questioned why it took up the largest slot at that time, and it wasn't the most appealing to many.

I've heard some speculation that 75334 could be Jango's Slave I. The apparent leak of a Jedi Starfighter makes that seem more probable. The two sets would naturally fit well together.

 

Cade Bane's ship feels very odd. It's a cool design, but not worthy of the price point.

I'm almost willing to bet Cad Bane's ship is the Justifier from Bad Batch, especially for that price. Definitely looking forward that.

A $30 Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter that finally gives us Taun We!? Yes please!

A $100 18+ buildable BD-1 sounds awesome, definitely upp for that!

Edit: wait, promobrick is saying it might come with a minifig-scale brand new mold of BD-1!? That makes it even more enticing and makes me wonder if one of the other sets might actually be related to Fallen Order or the sequel.

Another AT-TE I'm totally down for, I wasn't in a place where I could afford one the last time we got a normal version of one, now I am.

So far this wave sounds excellent.

I am hoping its an LAATc version, but that's further speculation and wishlisting on my part. 

I am just looking forward to it being a regular gunship and seeing it not include Commander Cody or some other clone. That hasn't been said yet, but I bet it will get brought up more seriously somewhere else.

If it is the justifier I hope they take the opportunity to put some of the other bad guys in the show here with omega feel like that could soften the price.Still hoping they release a new attack shuttle which would be great for that.The AT-TE I’m getting multiples of,definitely not missing out on this one like the last version god knows when we’ll see it again.Really happy I don’t have to pay resale for the 2013 one glad I held off in case.

Hmmm. I haven’t posted my thoughts on this yet, so no better time than now. The idea of a bigger AT TE at a reasonable ppp sounds great, if it looks good I’m definitely buying it. I’m really hoping maybe they’ll actually manage to give it posable legs, the last few have lacked that. I’ve also been waiting for a version of Obi Wan’s starfighter for a while now, which could be excellent. I’ve never played Fallen Order, but I’m sure the droid will be adorable. I also don’t have a huge investment in Cad Bane, but if I can find the ship on a discount I’d be kind of curious. I’m unironically really interested in what they’ll do for the 4+ AT ST, could be fascinating. That being said, I’m also starting to get concerned about Lego maybe planting false leads, although that may be just the weird conspiracy theorist side of me acting up.

Sounds like an exciting wave if the rumors are true. Been wanting a new Jedi Starfighter for a while and the inclusion of Taun We makes it all the more exciting. Its also been too long since the last proper AT-TE and glad we're getting another. Still I do hope Jango's Slave I and Bounty Hunter Pursuit are among the mystery sets listed without names. Both are long overdue for a remake.

Not sure how to feel about Cad Bane's ship. On one hand I'm glad to see it getting made, but the price seems awfully expensive for what it is. Still it has the potential for a solid minifigure line up with an updated Cad Bane, Omega and Todo-360. I also like the suggestion of including another Kaminoan figure. Taun We in the Jedi Starfighter, Nala Se in Cad Bane's Ship and Lama Su in Slave I would be the perfect way to cover all three Kaminoan characters.

I agree as well, many AT STs are oversized, I doubt the official set will be much to look at but even if there is a new part or technique which can be beneficial for MOCing it could be worthwhile

If we are getting Kaminoan figures, it would make sense to put them in more than just the rumoured Jedi Starfighter - actually I'm kind of surprised that a desirable (and probably expensive to produce) new fig would show up in a cheap set. Even though Taun We would make more sense to pair with Cad Bane's ship, I could see Nala Se (along with Omega) being included here to get more use from the mould and drive sales of the set. Give it 5 figs including new moulds and desirable figs and some large pieces and the PPP ratio doesn't look too bad.

Promobricks, the source for this rumor list, said so in a seperate Instagram post. Taun We is coming in the $30 Episode 2 Jedi Starfighter.

The bits about other Kaminoans coming in Cad Bane’s Ship or some of the other sets? That’s speculation.

Does anyone think there’s a chance that the “Cad Bane’s Ship” set has a side build of the abandoned facility on Bora Vio? That would somewhat justify the price on top of having somewhere to have the fight between Bane and Fennec and other scenes from the ep. I rlly hope that’s the case but it’s probably too much of a stretch. Some modding could also get us a normal Kamino facility so that would be awesome. 
 

Edit: I’d love to see the Jedi Starfighter come with that AOTC Obi-Wan fig with printed robes shown in one or two of the Skywalker Saga trailers.

As others have pointed out, the minifig-scale BD-1 could also hint at something other than a Fallen Order set, if you catch my drift 

All of this sounds pretty ecxiting I have to say! The only thing I‘m a bit worried about are Kenobi and Andor sets, but after TBoBF we probably shouldn‘t expect more than one set each anyway, at least this year
