...there's also a new Batman cartoon debuting in a few weeks on Cartoon Network, "Batman: The Brave and the Bold," that has Batman teaming up with people from all over the DC Universe. http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/batmanbb/index.html It'll be interesting to see if this has any influence on the LEGO line. Probably not, I'm guessing, but hopefully a new cartoon series will maybe spark a few more toy buyers and keep the line going.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that. If TLC drops the license I don't reckon it'll be a smart move, especially with the enormous popularity right now.

I'm not sure a sonic cannon is the best weapon for Man-Bat, it'd probably hurt his ears.

He doesn't really use weapons anyway, a sonic cannon against him would be cool though, like in the game but not a record player.

I reckon they should make a wayne manor being attacked by some new villains along with a old one. A new set with two-face in, and a set with clayface.

Wayne Manor is certainly a definite, the best villains would be Ra's and Talia Al Ghul, as well as bodyguard Ubu, since they know Bruce Wayne's identity.

I don't think another wave is likely, we haven't hear anythin in rumors and purple is cancelled so that would mean no Joker, Riddler and stuff. Doesn't look likely im afraid, another game does though.

We haven't heard ANY news of the second half of the year sets, and Batman is ALWAYS in the second half of the year. We haven't got a list of Castle sets and we know they're coming too, so don't rule out Batman yet.

True, but that's far from the entire line up. We don't know what the Indy sets will be, we haven't heard anything more from Galaxy Patrol, and like Batbrick said, no news on Castle. And that's more likely to be second April-May than Summer, like it was this year.

Actually, you're wrong about that. None of those are actually officially confirmed - we only know that Bionicle will have a summer wave because it always does. The Indy sets were only rumors, and Galaxy Patrol/Space Police III has made no appearances since the entries on Whung's 2009 set list.

I'm hoping that LEGO will eventually make some kind of Ancient Greece/Ancient Rome theme, and then we can have togas and laurel crowns and everything else we need to make a Maxie. He's never been my favorite, but he'd certainly make an interesting addition to the line.
