Dami Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 It just should have 6 speed gearbox, thats all. Rest seems okay. Quote

LvdH Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 In 1:5 scale it should totally be doable to add a “high/low” range to effectively create a six speed gearbox. I will (im)patiently wait on reviews though. Quote
Dami Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Its all functions that it need, but 3 speeds isnt enought. They easily can fit a 6 speeds here. I need to say that also pretty big model. It two times bigger than Ducatti. Quote
allanp Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 (edited) Again, it's probably too early to pile on this set, we only have a few more hours to wait to see all the goodies and finer details this set has to offer. But from the description, imagine the reaction from the star wars community if the description for the UCS AT AT was "it's much bigger and more expensive than previous AT ATs with a tiny bit if extra detail and room for one whole extra minifigure!" We haven't seen the set yet but the description is giving me that feeling. Edited December 9, 2021 by allanp Quote
FlyingFordFalcon Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 (edited) A little disappointed to hear the functionality is much the same as the Ducati, and I think the size increase was only to justify the in-line 4. I won't lose hope until I see an image of the model though, if it is a visual improvement over the Ducati's questionable compromises (not even a clear red tile for a tail light?) I'll pick it up, though I'd probably still get it even if it's not. As a side note, as stated by other people in this thread I too would like to see some representation of the big four Japanese motorcycle brands in future, and as an R1 owner I wouldn't be against seeing a representation of one of the crossplane bikes (would most likely be an R1M if at all) Edited December 9, 2021 by FlyingFordFalcon Quote
astyanax Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Wow are we really gonna make it till the embargo time with no leaks?! Quick search... and... nevermind, Lego's official Polish IG account seems to have posted an image, and deleted it minutes later. Quote
Milan Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Review will be online on EB in two hours. It may not have everything we wanted, but I would say we will probably be thrilled when we see it Quote

LvdH Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Spoiler alert: There are no new pistons in this model. Just the standard 20+ year old engine + pistons. Can’t spot any new gears or gearbox elements either. Quote
allanp Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 This close to the review, I shall give this the best chance. No candies for me, will wait till official presentation for the best first impression. Quote

Technicallism Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 The photos already appear at Promobricks Believe me, you might get disappointment Quote

TeamThrifty Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 ...build quality looks very similar to the real thing!! Poor. Keeps the dealers busy fixing them, and makes it easier to replicate in lego! Hoping better pics from a proper review show a better model than the leaks. Looks scrappy. And the rear tyres aspect ratio is wrong. Makes it look like a bicycle tyre. On the plus side, the kawasaki they release in a couple of years will benefit from the learning curve!! Quote
