Capt Wolf Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 The last of my micro prizes from Challenge IV, this time a merchant ship: I started out trying to build a different ship entirely (a schooner brig or a barque) and it wasn't turning out how I wanted, so I shortened it a bit, raised the poop deck, changed up the sail plan, and voila, a carrack! All C&C welcome. Quote
Keymonus Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Nice way to build a micro! Every part is exactly in the right place! How many pieces did you use for the ship? Quote
Garmadon Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 I quite like this - great job giving all your micro-ships different and distinct ship types! I am curious about that bowsprit too - did you manage to attach that somehow, or is it just held in by the friction? Quote

The masts (and connecting the sails to them) use more pieces than you'd think. The bowsprit is held in place by friction only, but it is remarkably stable. Also, the slope under the bowsprit is an upside-down cheese slope just sitting on top of a trans-blue cheese slope. Quote
