Posted November 24, 20213 yr The Duc of Boussac stood slone in the square and begun to read one by one the names engraved on the steles, till a name appeared before his eyes "Capitaine de vaisseau T. Lagaufre, KIA". He remained thoughtful for a moment when a voice broke the silence and echoed in the empty place. "Monsieur le Duc." The Duc looked away from the steles and saw a man wearing a large tricorn approaching. "Capitaine Surlecoup, I was waiting for you," said Boussac with an indiscernible smile, "I have a mission for you, my friend, but first of all, tell me how's the moral of your men?" Surlecoup saluted and answered quickly "Excellent, monsieur, they felt honoured to pull their blades for Oleon, although..."the captain paused and mumbled his words,"they haven't been paid since months." "This is exactly why I asked you to come here", said the Duc, "I can't pay your men right now, but I can offer you another opportunity to make some doubloons, here's what you are going to do..."
November 24, 20213 yr That looks good! The curvilinear arrangement of the columns reminds me of Russia and Ukraine. It is often present in front of parks or monuments.
