April 14, 200915 yr Seconds... Never Love the bilge pump Captain. So simple and yet so effective. Those minifigs are great too. As for the cannons, weren't you going to paint them black after engraving them? Keep up the good work matey Greetings, Errorist

As for the cannons, weren't you going to paint them black after engraving them? Keep up the good work matey Greetings, Errorist Thanks! I had intended to spray the old ones black, but i like the fact that the new colors sticks out well with the other colors, so i changed my plan...again.
April 15, 200915 yr Looking superb Captain Green Hair! I love those minifig pants, they are very unique. Good work on the pump too. The combination of the new pearl dark grey cannons and the brown bases looks stunning. I hope TLG will make some more new bases in different colors. I eagerly await the next update.
April 15, 200915 yr I have made some 17th century figures, thanks to Mijasper for the legs design. Please please please please don't use these minifigs. It's Lego and well found of mijasper... but they absolutely don't go with the other minifigs IMO. Please think it over Green Hair.
April 16, 200915 yr your bilge pumps design is really great CGH ^^ I love it. It's pleasant to see that a so huge and cool project is still on! I'm really impatient to see the finished ship !
April 16, 200915 yr This is very nice. Would like to see the cannons. Dutchies will rule the LEGO seas even more if this baby is finished!!
May 2, 200915 yr Author Time for a little update, just before the first anniversary of the project. I've finished the first ''berghout''. (The black line) This is an important moment, as the rest of the ship will follow that line. C&C are welcome!
May 2, 200915 yr Congrats on this milestone, great job getting this far! It's such a huge ship, really quite amazing! You are doing great with it! Edited July 30, 200915 yr by Admiral M
May 2, 200915 yr Nothing more to say, keep this wonderful build up CGH! I'm looking forward to see the large ammount of details on the stern.
May 2, 200915 yr Eurobricks Emperor It's amazing Captain to see this project of yours grow. Especially the first picture shows the perfect line of this beautiful VOC ship
May 2, 200915 yr Wow this is a great milestone in your ship. I enjoy coming back to see the updates. I really hope i will have the chance of seeing it 'live' somewhere. Looking forward to the stern.
May 2, 200915 yr CGH, I love the way you have turned the studs from upside down to right way up.That is certainly the best technique I've seen for a few weeks. I'm in love with the idea of using those SNOT parts. Ingrnious buddy! Well done.
May 2, 200915 yr You gotta hurry up with this thing, It will ba a year in June sence you first started posting images. Lets just put it this way......I can't wait for the final result Edited May 2, 200915 yr by Broadside
May 3, 200915 yr Author Thanks guys! Last night i did some more and put the Lion just about where it should be: That gives her a bit grandeur and it also shows the full length without the bowsprite as the headrails run in between the lion and the bow. C&C are welcome!
May 3, 200915 yr ...and also shows the full length without the bowsprite as the headrails run in between the lion and the bow. But we can't see the full length. Could you take a photo of the full ship with your addition?
May 3, 200915 yr That's so bloody big man, not normal anymore! Perhaps you could throw in a little cousin or something like that for size comparison?
May 3, 200915 yr Dear CGH, the black line looks amazing. Are you planning to tile over the studs on the side? Or do you leave all/some of them to represent copper nails? The black line looks really good on those photos. Only nitpick could be the last seven 1x1x1 snot bricks at the bow. The line seems to wobble a bit at the end, and end a bit to low, but that could be the camera angle. Keep it up. And congrats with the first anniversary of your beautyfull ship. Kind regards, Teddy
May 3, 200915 yr Awesome CGH! It reveals the height of the ship a bit, now it really looks like a massive project! Keep this wonderful build up!
May 3, 200915 yr Awesome job CGH. The updates look really cool as always. I have to agree with Teddy on the last seven bricks at bow though. Other than that everything looks perfect But we'll discuss your ship in other places. Keep up the good work Greetings, Errorist
July 30, 200915 yr Ouch, have you seen this yet? Pic = link OH NO! That must have been the thunderstorms of last night
July 30, 200915 yr Horrible indeed, the thunderstorm was even above our house, in Friesland... Anyway, the burning news has already been frontpaged and there is a thread about it here.
