Wow. This is beyond belief. What a fantastic job.

I simply love Dune (the book(s)) - I admire Frank Herbert as an "author". Or better as the creator of entire worlds and universes.

What you have accomplished here goes into the same direction. I love LEGO as well - and this rendition of an ornithopter is so well done.

I don't look this forum much, but saw this linked in the Technic forum, and I've gotta say that you've nailed the looks! The mechanism is simple yet seems effective, hopefully you can make a physical build at some point too.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m definitely lacking the parts. That’s why I put the LDD (and Mecabricks) file online to the public for free: in the hope someone can build it for real and provide feedback if it works or not.

Yeah, I also don't have the parts as I'm severely deficient in the System department, and only have 4 of those rotor blades you used for wings... Hopefully there's someone who can realize it as a physical build too!
