This model is based on my idea after thinking of a simple transformable vehicle, it should be able to transform even while moving since the mechanism is independent.
I plan to use 3 motors with technic C+ hub.
2 motors will be use to do the driving & the rest for transformation.
I also plan to build as compact as possible due to my parts availability.
The remote will be created using the PU apps.

Feature :

  1. 2 buttons for driving (moving & steering)
  2. 1 button for transformation (forward & backward)
  3. RPM meter for all motors

This is the driving module, it consist of 2 identical track driving mechanism powered by a L motor.
The transformation module is mounted at the center level and powered by a L motor.

This is the Z shape after transformation

I planned to mount the hub between the L motors.

After finishing the build, I found out that the transformation module can not 'hold' the position as I expected.
The Hub & the L motor created a heavy load that the module can stand.
So I changed the gearing system using a pair of worm gears at the final output.
I also modified the driving module by moving the L motor position into the lower part.

To make sure the model can work as I want it, I create the remote control using PU apps on my android phone.
During the test run, I found out that there is still an empty port which can be use to connect the PU LED.
The LED was connect using a pair of part part #x400c20 as the light bar on top of the model.

This model works smoothly & can transform while driving, it also can drive using the front side when it bumped into some obstacle.

More picture & video will be taken later.

This is the drive module for the model, it has 2 L PU motor to drive each side.

This is the module that will transform the model, it was driven by a XL PU motor.
The output is directed into both sides to do the transformation.

@dickylaban

This is a verbal warning for you to talk with others with respect.
The rules clearly state, as always, that you need to show some progress in your first post. No exceptions, and no arguing about it. And especially no calling other members idiots just because they told you your topic was breaking the rules.

This is not your first EB Technic contest, so I am not sure why you started like this.
So, in order for your entry to be valid, please edit your first post, include your progress, and from now on, please make sure to follow the rules as others do.

It is an interesting concept. Will it be able to flip over to the 4 sides with tracks, and do you already have an idea of what the transformation is going to be?

BTW. I think one of the issues here is what Jim called "mini modding" in another thread. To point out flaws as non-admins can easily cause resentment among us. It is really the best to just PM Milan or Jim instead of confronting directly.

Thank you for your warning.
I was having trouble with my uploading picture process which I didn't expected happened before I create this topic.

Since there are so many same comment judging I was breaking the rule directly without any confirmation, I think it was not a pleasant way to remind me for what I am doing.
I am not a kid who need such this kind of treatment, I fully understand what I am doing in EB. I am 63 years old as you can see in my profile, all my data is real one (including my name)
I feel pity for those kind of people with their status of DUKE or COUNT or whatever which didn't have good manner to post their comment same as some idiots do. (smart builder never talk with bad manner, they just try to explain how they make their ideas into reality & give positive feedback)

So if you think I really breaking the rule, I welcome your decision. (You may delete this post for what you think is correct)

But if you think my post is valid, please remind them to not repeating the treatment (negative feedback) they have done to me & please help me to remove their comment in this post.

The model will have a simple transformation from a Z shape into a square shape driving mechanism.

I really appreciate your solution for what is happening to my post, but I was surprised that I was attacked by many negative comment without trying to find out first what is happening.

@dickylaban - an interesting build. I’m curious as to what the outside is going to look like? Is it going to be some form of tank / ripsaw in terms of style ?

I’m not taking part in this competition this time as unfortunately I’ve not got the time at the moment but I’m very much looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

@everyone ! I’m not a mod but I’m sure @Jim and @Milan won’t mind me saying this but this threads conversation about posts and comments needs to calm down. I have to admit I’ve never paid attention to the “Vassals” “Dukes” “Counts” thing at all, all it shows is how long you’ve been here and how much you’ve posted. It doesn’t mean your more senior or of higher importance than some. Perhaps it’s a cultural thing (I’m British) where I know in some cultures (from my work) that hierarchy is very important. This is the second time I’ve seen this being raised by a “Vassals” complaining about someone with a different title. Perhaps something for the Mods to consider.

Thank you for your attention on my model.
This model will have a cube shape form, it can be transform into a Z shape (or parallelogram) in both direction (slant to front or back).
I was lucky this month due to the school holiday, my online math class also got holiday.
This give me opportunity to built without interruption.
I will post more picture tomorrow when nothing has to be done at home.
Please come back to see the progress.
Nice talking to you.

@dickylaban
Once again, do not call others idiots. If it happens again, you will be blocked from the competition and from posting on the forum. If you have an issue with someone or with something, please use the report button, or send me a PM.
Thanks for editing your first post as asked.

Please all, let's get back to the topic and to the competition. I will hide all the excessive posts.

Actually I didn't want to do it, but I was being attacked for unreasonable thing and nothing can be done to stop it.
I am a life survival for more than half century, so I think it's natural in human life.
I also didn't want to involve in useless complicated arguing discussion, since it wasting my time.
I have been a member here a long time ago, but I never post anything rapidly.
I will follow the rule as it was written, so I think everyone here should also be patient to see the progress before making any further judging statement.

Thank you for your help & I will continue to post my progress for the contest.

I have created the remote control for the model using PoweredUp application.
The model works smoothly & can perform as expected.
It also can move with the vertical side positioned at the ground.

I also make some 'batch' coding to run the model for video taking.
