Poco Lypso Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 very nice! currently watching the witcher, too bad lego won't pick this up, would make for a fantastic theme Quote
zoth33 Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Some interesting combo's here. I like the use of the black falcon pants on the crown knight torso. That torso for Geralt seems to be the most popular choice i've seen. Nice work. Quote
the Inventor Posted December 21, 2021 Author Posted December 21, 2021 Thanks. @zoth33 about the torso for Geralt, I have seen that too, although I had him build for a long time, before I saw others use it too, It's a great torso for him. The others I build only recently. Quote
Styphelus Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 Wow. This looks better than all the custom Witcher minifigures I've seen on several sites. Great job. But where is Ciri? Quote
the Inventor Posted December 23, 2021 Author Posted December 23, 2021 (edited) @Styphelus Thank you and I agree, the problem with custom decals/non-Lego elements is that it would be very difficult to give it a real LEGO feel, and at which point do you stop putting in more details. I find it much better to use existing parts as best as possible to represent the characters. About Ciri, yes I know, I could not find a suitable hair piece in my collection, but will make a v2 of these figs, just finding the right parts, maybe I will also include other characters such as Vesimir. Sir Jedrus Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) is the witcher torso and hairpiece still available? which sets are they from? Edited January 5, 2022 by Sir Jedrus Quote
the Inventor Posted January 7, 2022 Author Posted January 7, 2022 @Sir Jedrus You can find them on bricklink, but the torso is a bit expensive: BrickLink - Part 973pb2661c01 : LEGO Torso Ninjago Dark Bluish Gray Armor with Wolf Head Emblem Pattern / Light Bluish Gray Arms / Black Hands [Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.] - BrickLink Reference Catalog maybe look for the complete figure/set, and this is the hair: BrickLink - Part 88283 : LEGO Minifigure, Hair Mid-Length Tousled with Center Part [Minifigure, Hair] - BrickLink Reference Catalog Quote

However nice they are (not speaking about decals which I dislike), I, too, find non-LEGO elements a bit too over-detailed for my taste Edited January 11, 2022 by blackdeathgr Quote
Mike S Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Very well done! I always have fond memories of The Witcher games whenever I come across The Witcher content. Quote
