Oh, it's nice to speculate and fantasize, but is it possible to arrive in November without the details on the January wave?  😑 However I keep betting all my money on a Quinjet Infinity War, I don't think they will leave Hulkbuster alone.  As for 2012, if we didn't have the celebration this year, I don't think we will have them next

We already have names and pricing for most the wave, you can view it in the updated list at the bottom.

Last year we had images of the January sets mid november, so we'll probably see that occur for the Thanos, Hulk and Rocket mech. Piece counts should be revealed for those sets along with potential descriptions of other January sets and what to expect around that time:

  • Names and pricing in October
  • Set piece counts and images around 15th November
  • Lego updates website to add January sets around December 7th

D2C info was revealed in late November/December, but that may have been an anomaly so would not necessarily say to expect that.

TLDR - expect us to see the images of at least the mechs by around the 20th November.

Wait, hold on. So the upcoming set can't be compared to any set that didn't release last year, or one of the closest-in-price sets that did? You have to understand how that sounds. Also, war on the water is also $10 cheaper than the quinjet, and has a good number of large pieces (not that it's at all worth $90).

Look, I'm not saying it's 100% going to happen, but you can't act like there isn't precedent.

I'm saying that War on the Water is a better comparison to the new Quinjet vs. $80 sets that released in 2015 and 2016 because LEGO has changed a lot since those sets came out. Personally, I'm not using Endgame Final Battle as a comparison point for the new Quinjet in particular because it's got a lot more going for it than most other Marvel sets released in the last two years. It had decent minifigures and a good-sized build for $80, but after the price increases this year I'm not expecting that for sets like the Quinjet.

War on the Water does have large pieces, but like you said, it's not worth anywhere near $90. $80 would be overpriced even taking into account the new prints and large pieces. That's what I'm saying - with a piece count as high as 800 for $100, I don't think there's going to be 6 Avengers and Loki in that Quinjet set. Of course it's not impossible, but I don't count a 2015 set as "precedent" for a 2023 set, especially not after War on the Water and Iron Man Armory show what LEGO thinks is worth $90 in 2022. To me, those are the precedent because they're the closest to $100 sets we've seen since LEGO's price increases. We got a low piece count and a bunch of new minifigure prints in those sets. We already know there's not a low piece count for the Quinjet (it could've been better but it's not 16-18 cents per piece like those two) so no, I'm not expecting 8 new minifigure prints.

I would absolutely love to be proven wrong and I hope the Quinjet is a set like Endgame Final Battle that's worth the money and gives us a good build and good minifigures. It's just not what I'm expecting after LEGO's track record in 2022 and I don't think we can expect things based on sets that released in 2015. I'm trying to keep my expectations low because War on the Water really disappointed me after the amazing minifigures and detailed builds in the smaller Wakanda Forever sets.

Why oh why must there only be one set, looks like there's so many great possibilities in this film. And Kang!! Incredible!!

Hot Toys has scheduled for release figures based on villains from the NWH final battle, Green Goblin, Electro, Doc Ock, Lizard and Sandman. All of these are in Q3-Q4 2023.

If Lego is making NWH sets, we'd probably be looking at July - December 2023 at the earliest.

Ahhh the wait is painful :(

Love the new spider-man trailer. Kang looks good, I'm glad they found a way to let the blue face exist in some form. There are so many figs we need though, and while I would say Ant-Man, Wasp, and Kang are all pretty likely, I'm worried we won't see Cassie, and there's no way we get the ant-grandparents.

Apparently Kang is not the main villain.  As someone had already speculated, we could get Antman, wasp, the daughter and a buildable Modok

I would hate that. Just hate that

Non mettere Kang sul set farebbe schifo, ma non sarebbe la fine del mondo dato che sappiamo che otterremo una sua minifigure nel 2025. Spero che almeno avremo Scott, Hope e Cassie.

Exactly.  but actually Kang is in the poster, so he could actually play a bigger role than Modok and end up in the set

Nah I agree with his point. LEGO has (somewhat) changed their pricing style, we're seeing them upcharge sets because of inflation and because they want more money. We saw how the Modular Sanctum was initially $200 but then upcharged to $250 when the price inflations started happening. So while the AoU quinjet would be $100 in current day USD from $80, you also have to account for LEGO's own inflation, which would probably place that set at $120 if it was made.

While it might be longer for LEGO to produce designs and mass produce, usually sets take years to conceptualize and make, this is perfect timing. With The Marvels getting 1 set that opens up the latter half of 2023 and a large portion of the budget. We could potentially see a wave similar to BP Wakanda Forever (timeframe and set quantity)

I think, as previously speculated, that a $30 set could be very very similar to Gargantos Showdown. We could see the 3 figs being Antman, Wasp, Kang, with the Gargantos-comparison being Modok? I could see them throwing in a side build but this would be best case scenario especially with the price increases. Maybe we see Stature and no side-build, I feel like the set needs to be like the BP 2018 wave at the least tho :(

Imagine if it was, we get a set with Wasp, Ant-grandparents, Modok with a ship build (Royal talon fighter) and then we get a Kang, Antman, stature final battle set (Rhino faceoff by the mine)

That's exactly what I want for solo MCU movies: one set priced at $20-30 and one at $50-60. I don't like getting one $20-30 set per movie especially now that they're so big. All of Marvel's solo movies (after Shang-Chi) seem to be large-scale spectacles with too many important characters for only one set with 3 or 4 minifigures. That's why I'm excited for the Marvels set though. Since it's $90 I hope we get the main trio, Nick Fury, and the villain.

It does indeed look good. Some very cool potential location builds from this, although it doesn't look like we'll get them, which is a shame.

Even if we don't get Kang in the Quantumania set I'm not too worried as I'm sure we will get our fill of Kangs in the next few years just like Thanos. Hopefully this time we'll get more unique variants though as I believe we are supposed to get different actual Kang variants in the different films, not just costume changes.

We have an unknown polybag in February, perhaps the polybag contains Kang to encourages spending more. Set itself could then contain Ant-Man, Wasp, Cassie/Stature and a brick-built Modok.

To be optimistic, we may get all 4 main characters (Antman, Wasp, Cassie and Kang) AND a buildable Modok. The Escape from the 10 Rings set was the same price with 4 minifigures so whilst it is probably unlikely, its not unprecedented. At that point tho it would just be a glorified minifigure pack, which whilst I am not opposed to that as a minifigure collector, might not be popular across the wider Lego community

Don't polybags usually include repeat minifigures? Unless I'm mistaken, exclusive figure polybags are reserved for video game bundles

TONS of polybags have exclusive figures. Most of my lego knowledge is star wars (we've had exclusive polybags of a first order general, Revan, Yularan, a chrome stormtrooper, and a lot more). I don't think marvel gets as many figure polybags in general, but aside from the video game ones, we had two minifigure hulk polybags that were exclusive, didn't we? And the rocket raccoon one.

Yes, but in the past few years, we haven't got any. The closest was the captain Marvel one, but that figure was made for the SDCC set, so it isn't exactly new either. I don't think Lego will go back to making polybags like that anytime soon.

I for one want buildings and locations, not mechs, busts and suits.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that most people here would agree with that sentiment.

Yeah, getting figures exclusive to wide-release polybags is very uncommon, especially in recent years. That SDCC Captain Marvel polybag and a few video game promos is all that comes to mind recently. I remember people being disappointed that the Spider-Man Bridge Battle polybag didn't include Doc Ock for some reason when they should never have expected him to be released there in the first place.

The Lego community, and most kids in general, are very minifig-crazy, so I don't think most people would have a problem if your idea panned out lol.

This just occurred to me last night. I am a bit concerned that Lego having four Marvel D2Cs available going into next year (the Daily Bugle, Sanctum Sanctorum, Black Panther bust and Hulkbuster) means that whatever NWH stuff we get in the second half of next year, assuming we actually get stuff, won't include a D2C Statue of Liberty.

Yeah, I don't expect to see Kang (or any other exclusive minifigure) in a polybag. We haven't gotten a true exclusive minifigure polybag for Marvel since 2017's Giant-Man Hank Pym. I do like that minifigure polybags are still a thing, but unless there's another video game I'm not expecting an exclusive minifigure.
