In other news, there's a rumour about a buildable Mjolnir coming this year.

It came out during the thread lockdown period, so it was kinda forgotten, but Brick Clicker reminded me about it today. Seeing as he's a reliable source, I guess it confirms this rumour.

Just for clarity I didn't confirm the rumour :classic: Just mentioned it in my vid as I usually go over all the current rumours in those types of vids

Ah, got it.

I've been reading, and most speculation points to the COVID lockdown

Supposedly, they designed sets with only a software during that time, which means they never built the actual thing with physical bricks before green-lighting it

While that assumption is sound, I'm surprised no one bothered to check at any point

Also, if this is correct, it would mean we should expect more flaws like that one in this upcoming winter waves

I can attest to this in a non-Lego way. One of my friends is a designer at an international company, and they sent everyone home. They began having serious quality control issues PRECISELY because they were working only in software and didn't have access to not only their 3-D Printer but their normal physical models. I'd imagine this is the same case for these sets as we'd expect some sets (Especially smaller ones) to have a 1 year development time.

Given my friend's company, they couldn't just send them home with "parts", but I would have thought LEGO would have sent them a bunch of lego pieces for home use. I agree, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised of more flaws and sudden gaps in #'s if they caught them in time before announced.

Looking into the new year, how long do people think I'd have to get the collectible mini figures? Barely seen these in store in the UK and have a number I'd really like to find, but if they're going to be no longer available within a month or two, I'll probably try and source another way!

My rule of thumb for CMF is get them ASAP. If you see them, buy them. If you don't find them and you want to get them another way, do that quickly because prices will only rise.

I missed out on CMF Series 20 because I was afraid to go out to stores at that time, and there's now simply no way I'm ever getting the Viking, for example.

CMF are going, going, gone.

I can attest to this. I felt similar to the Marvel CMF, having difficulty finding it in stores. Found some of the Boxes of 6 on Target.com but didn't get the entire set. The instant I saw them show "sold out" on Lego.com I knew it was only a matter of time before it became even more difficult and just bought an entire series on bricklink. If you still find them in the wild @therealwalkers i'd recommend getting them.

If we get a No Way Home set, do we think we’ll get Maguire and Garfield? I could see that being extremely wishful thinking and just getting Holland with some villains. Really hope I’m wrong.

It's LEGO - never put it past them. That being said, I'm hopeful that if they bother to make spoiler sets, they'll include all three Spider-Man betwixt the sets, if not now down the line in the infinity saga line. Almost no way that a set off the statue of Liberty battle isn't made in some form at some point.

I think we'll definitely get them at some point but I wouldn't expect LEGO to put both of them in the same set, regardless of how accurate the portrayed scenario would be to the movie.

Speaking of Legos recent quality issues, just got a couple of Cmf bags and who would have thought, they had quality issues?! Loki’s face was printed wy to low on the minifig head, to the point he had a Peyton Manning forehead. And Caps shield that came with Bucky had a huge scratch and part of it was badly chipped. And they aren’t the only examples on last year, combined with mechs and Gargantos issues doesn’t look good for LEGO.

I also had an issue. One of Sylvie's faceprints were messed up, like her eye was literally on her lips.

Thanks both! I found a box in Sainsbury's (a supermarket in the UK) when they first came out but was tired and didn't want to spend the money then (plus I really wanted Wanda, who was gone)... needless to say I regret that now I need to find six of the set...!

Okay, I thought about keeping this to myself but now sooner or later it'll be on Instagram so I'm gonna share it anyway. Take it with OCEANS of salt but the source clearly has access to the information (for example he had pics of 22nd CMF):

• Second Marvel CMF is on the way which I guess kind of explains four CMF's in 2022;

• Three new Spider Man sets are on the way: one big one and two small ones. Small ones probably aren't NWH based;

• Even the guy isn't sure but Tobey's Spider Man sets may be coming

All this info is from LWC on VK.

Wow, that's a lot to take in.

A second Marvel Studios CMF? Hawkeye, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel and possibly Secret Invasion? Great to hear.

A big NWH set, and two smaller ones that (probably) aren't for NWH? Great to hear.

Possibility of Raimi Spider-Man sets? Oh boy yeah.

Question: are those Spider-Man sets connected to March 76209 (120€) and April 76219 (20€)?

That's unknown right now but I guess they could be. I wonder if non-NWH related sets are Tobey Spider Man sets, if they're really coming. Would be nice to get it already in April

Wait what... You mean Tobey Spiderman sets based on the trilogy? Separate from NWH???? That would be a DREAM

I would want a remake of the origins set

Wait so we are getting 1 large NWH set per the information/rumor you shared?

In that case it would have to be the final battle at the statue

Man, I'm gonna be so broke after this year...

It seems like it will be the best year for almost every theme - Marvel with more Spider-Man sets, Love and Thunder, another CMF, and possibly anniversary sets and Raimi Spider-Man sets, Jurassic World with over 10 Dominion sets, DC with The Batman, and hopefully Black Adam, The Flash and Aquaman, more Harry Potter sets with the possibility of Fantastic Beasts sets, Star Wars with 18+ dioramas, and possibly Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor sets, and as a cherry on top a Horizon Zero Dawn set and Pixar's Lightyear sets.

This year is a dream come true, although not for my wallet...

I hope it is, but if that's true it means we're getting only one more NWH set which would confirm Fulcrum's rumor about 5 NWH sets in total. Only I guess it means NWH polybag was part of them sadly

I am hyped about the Horizon Zero Dawn set so much, I can't believe that is happening.

What Maguire would you all want to see if this is true?

God, I was looking at the Raimi Spiderman Cm4sci moc sets and thinking it would be cool if Lego made sets based on it, since the anniversary is coming and it was their first superhero license (before Batman).

true, but hey, the final battle is the most spoilerific scene in the movie. Doing one large set as a spoiler makes up for it imo
