if we get three and a half figs then could Valkyrie have the LAT head and hair? new torso and leg printing? Korg has same head and headpiece with new torso and leg print (blue arms like in the goat boat set) and a build for miek (same fig as the bro Thors house) and one chitauri (repeat)

so that all the new prints for this pack is two torso and leg printing. the rest is all re use

Yeah, if that happens. This is the most logical thing to do. 
 

But like others saying, I would prefer a different set of minifigures. We’ll see.

yeah but getting these highly decorated figs in a character pack?! don't think anyone would be happy with that. Also we got scale cap as a fig. Iron Patriot and ronin would be cool. Iron Pat mark 2 could use that new bad batch shoulder/chest piece with attachments. 

those two and valkyrie is my perfect choice to add to the endgame final battle set. to fill it out.

For those curious, the back of the New Asgard Attack set has been shown on instagram and the person who brought it is building it currently and teasing the idea of potentially having something advertised in the instruction manual

The timing does make sense to be linked with Thor, but to have all the figures be associated primarily with Thor and Thor Ragnarok/Endgame is a bit of a letdown for something that has been built-up as being an 'Infinity Saga accessory pack'. Having it be a few random characters from the Endgame final battle would have been more

• Valkyrie requires at minimum a torso print, but her Ragnarok/Endgame costume is so detailed it'd arguably need leg/arm print to really feel complete
• Korg requires at minimum a torso print, but arguably needs his shoulder pad and leg print to sell the design
• Meik depending on how it is adapted requires at minimum a torso print, though realistically he may need a printed head and unique arms as he should be minifigure scale.
• Chitauri would probably be recycled from the 2021 sets

I feel it also damages our chances of getting a Ragnarok legacy set, as now we primarily missing Skurge and Surtur who are exclusive to that film.

I viewed it similar to what we got a few years back for Infinity War (Bricktober pack) which gave us a unique War Machine, Wong, Tony Stark and Bucky. In general I just expected Ronin, it makes sense to include the Ronin outfit due to it being highly requested and appearing in Hawkeye.

The full list of suits are:

1. War Machine MK1 - Iron Man 2
2. War Machine MK2 - Iron Man 3 + Age Of Ultron
3. Iron Patriot MK1 - Iron Man 3 (A painted version of the MK2)
4. War Machine MK3 - Civil War
5. War Machine MK4 - Infinity War
6. War Machine MK5 - Never Seen On-Screen
7. War Machine MK6 - Endgame
8. Iron Patriot MK2 - Endgame (Originally intended as a repaint/mod of the MK5, however the design was taken from unused concept art for the MK6)

The MK4 was meant to be destroyed in the Edinburgh fight in Infinity War, resulting in the MK5 being the suit for the final battle in Infinity War. After the snap the MK5 was meant to be repainted into the red/blue suit which would be used during the Blip (People might just need, a little old fashioned) with Rhodey then using the MK6 in Endgame.

In terms of movie-continuity, we skip straight from the MK4 to the MK6 between the events of Infinity War and Endgame, this does imply the existence of the MK5 though through numbering.

It leaves us with three options:

• War Machine MK5 is the Iron Patriot MK2
• War Machine MK5 is the non-patriotic Iron Patriot MK2
• War Machine MK5 is a different design entirely and the Iron Patriot MK2 has no pre-existing suit as its base design

Given the concept art, nature of the Iron Patriot's as repaints and the original remarks concerning the story I'd lean more towards the idea that the MK5 is the basis for the Iron Patriot MK2, it'd make sense the armour used during the Blip when the world is in chaos would arguably be the most decked out armour and the most 'patriotic'. It also means that while we may never get a general MK5 figure, it would allow people to repaint the eventual Iron Patriot MK2 figure we get to fill the gaps of the MK5.

The accessory packs were never intended to serve as a replacement for the Bricktober packs though  They clearly have a much lower budget

And putting a coveted minifig like Ronin in a cheap pack like this wouldn‘t make too much sense either. He‘s far more likely to show up in a larger Infinity Saga set IMO

Someone edited the wiki and changed it.

pretty annoying when MkV was a gap in the Wiki for good reason: It was a cut suit.

The MCU scrapped a fight scene in IW where Rhodey remote controlled a suit for the Edinburgh fight (Mk4) the suit is destroyed and he then uses a “Mk5” for the Wakanda fight however With the loss of the scene the mkV was never used in that film and the Mk4 just gained its back weapons that were designed.

A similar change happened in Endgame where they planned to use the MkV for the final fight however it was scrapped yet again and Phil Saunders designed a new MkVI and Iron Patriot Mk2.

Annoying when people Edit wikis without knowing the lore behind stuff.

Mark 5 has to be the non colored version of Iron Patriot V2. 
 

When the first conceptual arts from Endgame leaked we got the looks of it. The same as Iron Patriot V2 but colored as usual War Machine Black/Grey. I think that’s why Marvel Legends had a figure based of it and also why lego War Machine buster happened. 
 

It’s just sad that we may never get a War Machine Mark 5 (we got the helmet from Quantum suit lol) because of being cut in the fim. Unlike Tony Stark’s suits is still being produced by LEGO (taking a longer route) but still being continously introduced.

Honestly, seeing it, it looks pretty good. That being said, that Miek is the most megablucked up thing I’ve ever seen. I’m sure the pieces there are enough to make it look good, but it’s just so freaky looking.

It's a cool expansion to the final battle set imo, but it could definitely be improved upon.

It sucks that Valkyrie uses the old hairpiece, which I absolutely hate.

Korg looks great, no complaints here.

I don't like Miek. Too many colours. His legs are too forward, and his back is too substantial. His arms don't feel like arms, they are just a single blade piece (which doesn't even look good).

Weirdly enough it looks like trans. dark blue, but I'm happy either way.

I know many still want a proper ronin/Natasha figs, but this is still a great pack.

Nice accessory set. Think the combo of this and the small L&T set is a great way for kids especially to get all of the main characters easily.

Wrong outfit for Valkyrie (from Endgame) and I find it weird that Thor doesn’t come with Stormbreaker, but for $15, this pack is a pretty good value. This will be my first Valkyrie figure and I’ll be able to add the Chitauri, Korg and Miek to my Endgame Final Battle display.

I’ll probably pick this up whenever I get the Sanctum Sanctorum or Daily Bugle from the Lego Store at some point this summer.

Including Valkyrie here was as pointless as the second LaT set.

Korg is great, though I would've rather had white armour Valkyrie. Though on the other hand, I suppose now we have this Korg, maybe the Korg from the set could've been someone else instead, I'm sure more people would rather this Korg than the other

Love the inclusion of Miek, glad I don't need to get him from the house set now. The body is decent enough, though I'm sure someone could do better (and if you can, please post it)

Love that Korg fig! I feel that the miek doesn't count as u can make up your own ego suit for her. Thor could have been left out but a cheap way to get the fig. 

Ill call this the KORG & MIEK BATTLE PACK! They are the only draw. That canon is not bad though

Ill pick this up with the bridge battle polybag and the two Thor sets! a great Thor Marvel Lego haul!!!

I gotta say I quite like this pack.

Korg and Miek look great, a Chitarui seems like a fair inclusion, Valkyrie's a good choice but it was a new figure (or at least had the new hair). Thor's kinda meh for me cause he comes in 2 other sets already, but I suppose it makes sense.

On it's own I like it quite a bit, but it's kinda weird to have the focus on these minor characters (i think Korg has the only new print) since we're still missing endgame versions of major characters (Like Ronin, Nebula, War Machine and Black Widow)

Fingers crossed we get another Endgame set or two this summer. Probably for the best that Lego didn't do those figures in an accessory set as there'd probably have to be more compromises compared to a wide release set.
