That's awesome if true, but I'd be careful because the actor's comments alone aren't always enough to prove something is or isn't in the MCU.

As someone who spent way too much time as a kid in the late 2000s looking at custom Spider-Man 3 figures online, getting a Raimi black suit, New Goblin, Venom, and maybe even a Sandman that has a normal green striped shirt with no sand on it would be a dream come true. Hell, throw an Emo Peter figure in there as well since the hairpiece for him exists now.

That large NWH set is also very exciting to think about. I am more excited about this rumor than I was about the infinity saga sets

As awesome as he is D'Onofrio's word doesn't mean much in this specific situation. There are several red flags saying the Netflix show probably isn't canon, the way I see it this is somewhat of a reboot but with the original actors.

Glad to see I'm not the only one over here that hasn't found any. I've only seen them once in a Tesco's in September, bought 4 packs and got Sam Cap, T'Challa SL and 2 Sylvies, but since then I've seen no sight of them. The local toy shop is still selling the previous 3 CMF series

Regarding the weight of his words, he has now given about three interviews expressing this but one of them has this following quote from the interview with Collider:

VINCENT D'ONOFRIO: I think it's definitely a continuation, like there's no difference to me. There's the physical strength that's different. The fact that he can take more violent abuse, physical abuse is different, but it's very clear with the writers and the producers and the directors that I'm continuing the same man that was in the series a few years ago, in Daredevil.

Bolded the key part of his quote to highlight that this information seems to come from higher up and not just his own sentiment.

They don't count as spoilers, and that's definitely also a good idea for a minifigure in the CMF.

There's just so many interesting characters in this series - She-Hulk, Hulk, Abomination, Titania, Skaar, The Wrecking Crew and Daredevil, and that's without even counting all the cameos we'll get (trust me, there will be a lot of cameos)

Not really.

His word doesn't really mean anything here. They didn't tell him that the MCU series' are canon, but just to play Kingpin like he was continuing those series. Why? Not because they are canon - because people liked that Kingpin, so Marvel Studios decided to give people more of him.

There's literally nothing that even suggests they are canon. They won't mention the events from those series', because they don't want to get into the rest of that mess, like Iron Fist.

I get that the Marvel fandom for some people involves knowing every plot detail and cameo in advance, but as many other people do NOT want to know.

marvel is officially releasing shirts with Tobey and Andrew on them for NWH, I think we can expect to see more merch with them included soon

I really hope the Tobey rumours are true, but primarily because I'd like to see updated civilian figures. I hope whatever the set ends up being, we get a little Lego Willem Dafoe. He's been so great in both movies. It's also been a while since we got a Harry Osborn figure. I still have mine from the SM2 sets but he doesn't really scream 'Harry Osborn'

I think I've mentioned this countless times here, but I haven't bought a marvel set in two years, and a statue of liberty battle or tobey set would bring my wallet back to them. I wasn't even alive for the first spider-man, but I would 100% buy sets based off the Raimi films, and a statue of liberty battle no matter how much it costs (after a third viewing I mantain that NWH is the best marvel film)

NWH made me realize how much I only liked Endgame's final act, whereas I love the entirety of NWH

Y'know, now that you mention it, so do I. Well, I also really liked the first 10-20 minutes.

DSitMoM is my most anticipated phase 4 film so I'm really looking forward to getting the Gargantos set. I wonder if it'll get delayed or if they're going to make mid-production changes like they've done in the past like the Ant-Man set given the design flaw Brickset did an article about the other day. It's surprising such a building technique was allowed to go through but I do hope it doesn't affect its release.

it is a tricky situation, I've seen some people were given the set to review by lego already and they didn't ask them to remove the videos for the same reason they did with the mech sets. I hope they aren't delayed

In contrast to the mechs, the Gargantos set is already being sold in some places (I got my copy online last week). They could still recall it of course, but the flaw is not that noticeable I think. Maybe I‘m a bit unobservant, but I haven‘t noticed a single thing while building it

Yeah, I feel like this is going to be a WALL-E type situation where TLG will just quietly change the set in further production and offer a small parts bag to those that contact them about it. It doesn't seem like a big enough problem to fully recall the set.

we'll see how it holds up over time. I am just worried about the quality control of these plastic bricks lately. If a much larger set has these same issues that is really gonna hurt
