I mean, I guess the Battle of Seven Potters could work as an accessory set - 35ish piece motorcycle build, Harry, Hagrid, and two Death Eaters - but it wouldn't really work as anything else. There just wouldn't be a major build for this building toy.

The sidecar would be the build. People would buy it

As for Promobricks... I think we can rule out the socks referring to a Freeing Dobby set, since the $20 set has too low a piece count to realistically be a Hogwarts expansion, so a brickbuilt Dobby is likely. Makes sense: Yoda and Grogu have both sold very well, and Dobby is another famous pointy-eared freak in a potato sack.

Honestly, this could work as a set in the style of Aragog. A small motorbike (maybe brick-built for Hagrid's size) with sidecar, and maybe a small city street side-build.

The only option is that they are not doing an expansion in the new style, which gives more flexibility with part count.

The sidecar would be 20 pieces. It's a polybag build. Ergo an accessory pack would be the best way to get the scene, since it's essentially just a polybag with 4 minifigures.

I wouldn't be suprised if we see some sort of knight bus for the summer with the last one being so popular. I could see them mixing it up with like a creator expert style version but maybe I'm thinking to outside the box:laugh_hard:

Eww I hope not.

I kinda doubt they would take up a large scale slot with this, but who knows anymore, honestly. This theme has shown itself to be willing to switch styles as well as release sets that are very outside the box.

I just hope all this anticipation pays off...

While I certainly won't deny LEGO's capacity to make rereleases that nobody asked for, none of the known piece counts match up with what a new Knight Bus would be- a minifigure-scale one would be 400-500, and a Creator Expert version would likely be nearly 2000.

But the pieces for the bike would require a set I think, I mean the stuntz bikes are £7/8 for just the bike. Adding a few figures and a sidecar could make it £18 like Expecto Patronum/Room of Requirement

Did you guess about Dobby? Well done! I wonder if the price is wrong, and it’s been mixed up like with the chess set last year, because I can see Dobby being about £90+ but they said the creature was $50. 🤔

Well I said I thought it might be that instead of a Freeing Dobby remake. We have Lucius from DA in one of the new books so putting him in a cheap set as well doesn't feel right. Plus the Dobby's sold at the Warner Bros Studios seem popular enough, despite the fact that they all looked possessed to me and the arms come off super easily so you can easily find a few one armed ones on the shelf (suppose it's comeuppance for getting Harry's arm injured during the Quidditch match ).

The Harry and Hermione two pack is only £115 now and whilst creating Dobby may be a big more intricate, I'm not sure you could have two 'buildable' creatures on the shelf for £115 and then one for £90+, but I could be wrong. Really depends on the scale and detail I suppose.

I get the feeling the Ameet books aren't as regularly available elsewhere (like the States) as they are here, so I'm not sure that's an argument against. Lucius is in one of them and not a DK book, and the figures in those books don't tend to be exclusive (with the present exception of the Cedric minifig, but the parts that make it "not-the-mannequin" are fairly common). Plus I'd still expect him to be part of an Accessory Pack at some point, too.

Well fingers crossed they post something tomorrow! I’d completely forget they were an hour ahead of here!

Here's hoping. Though we also have the Creator Expert Stadium reveal tomorrow, so we'll see how that plays into everything if at all.

What was the point of teasing us if they aren’t revealing until tomorrow?

People did comment about the full moon a bit, so it was likely more in response to that than anything else. Hopefully we'll see more tomorrow.

Haven’t been here in awhile, have lost a bit of LEGO interest since I used all my room on the Ninjago City sets (which I might sell) and got busy with work. That being said, I’ve been keeping an eye out for HP summer wave leaks. Hope you all get what you want!
