Retro Brick Reviews Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 I'm surprised that the Shrieking Shack includes the full trio, I was expecting it to be just Harry since the other two are in the Hospital Wing. I also hope this time around Sirius gets the Moody hair in dark brown, that would look much more accurate imo (and fit with the Wanted Posters since 2018). Quote

This is my own thought. Who knows if there will be room in the ministry for a reference to Arthur Weasley's office Quote

Well there you go, everything’s coming up Milhouse. Honestly this is the best wave for a couple of years. Really hoping for a Lupin/Werewolf mould. Quote

Also it is based on completelly different building than Clock Tower... but hey maybe Lego just dont care about any actual castle accuracy and they are going free style with stacking It doesn’t sound like the Sirius Escape set is a tower this time around - rather it’s a 24 stud wide modular set probably representing the scene in the courtyard where Sirius and Harry say goodbye. I thought it was a remake of the original tower set too at first. Quote

Take the tower off the top, leaving a flat base with a symmetrical bottom floor and the Clock Tower Courtyard out front. 2. Stack the Hospital Wing on top of the bottom floor. 3. Take the Dark Tower and stack it someplace else (maybe on top of the Girl's Bathroom or Gryffindor Dorms, since those still don't have a top). 4. BacktoBricks Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 The only thing I hope doesn't occur is that we get minifigures that are so slightly different that as a collector you feel compelled to get them even though in reality there's just a clothing crease in a different direction or something. From what I was able to get from the google translated article, they don’t have as much info on the Hungarian Horntail or Shrieking Shack, so their Minifigure list for that one is just an educated guess. sebastian666 Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 I’m fascinated to see if LEGO releases a new suggested layout illustration for this Hogwarts system. It’s obviously designed to be customizable, but I’m curious to see how they thought it should all lay out. Quote

But what if @BrickFunatic was right and it is brick built Dobby with his sock, hence why they said 470 for this to the Dobby with his sock image (which has now vanished) because they know it is coming just not at that price, but can't reveal the retailer exclusive. Of course they could also just be poking fun at the D2C Dobby idea. I hope it's not and am personally in favour of a Second Task, but just a thought. The fact that Brick Clicker more or less confirmed it was also weird. Quote

This could actually work but still kinda weird how they combined two individual Hogwarts buildings in one Just now, Retro Brick Reviews said: It's probably a 24x8 base with the 8x8 Dark Tower in the middle. So same thing as Hospital Wing... would be kinda lame to repeat that but whatever we got MoM!!! :D Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Maybe the brick-built Dobby is actually a Brickheadz set? Quote
PsychoBuilder Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 First of all, I got one of these right, so let’s goo!!!! /s Sounds like a good wave, and most people have covered my thoughts, but I was sort of thinking about the Horntail. Now, a lot of brick built creatures like like *^~#, but I was sort of looking back at the Jurassic Park rexys, and I think there’s a possibility for this to actually be really good. I’m hoping it’s not entirely locked down to a stand, more like a free moving thing, but it doesn’t really sound that way from what Promobricks described. Still could be interesting though. Quote

Falconfan1414 Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Thought. If it is deathly hallows based what if they do the alternate face thing for Harry Ron and Hermione like in the bathroom set Quote

Bugbot20082 Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 I still suspect the MoM set is actually DH, that would explain Umbridge… I predict the ‘Lucious’ figure is actually Yaxley, and the mistake is because they reuse the same face print again :/ Also where is the supposed Tonks going to be in all of this? D2C? Advent Calendar? I guess the purple hair is a red herring… Quote
Textorix Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Such a great wave, this just made my day. We got everything, new locations, the most wanted sets by fans, Hogwarts expansions, remake of set that actually needs it (Horntail), maybe even first DH based set... I just need 2nd task set and Gringotts and I can call it maybe the best wave we had depending on pictures. Quote

BrickMatit Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 If Ministry of Magic set is DH based, why the golden statue? I suppose someone confused deatheaters with dementors (both with hoods and capes) and the set is OotP based. This would be coherent with the golden statue. Quote
