We could get the ripped version, and then the proper version in a dedicated set in the future.

I just checked. June 2020 sets were revealed on 28th April and June 2021 sets were revealed on 16th April.

Thinking about it, another thing that could lend credence to the Ministry being a DH set is that it apparently doesn't include Fudge, which would be really off if it were based on OotP.

Ripped version sounds good for this set.

Also, maybe the Horntail set contains a mini dragon mould based on the dragon picking scene, because both the Hedwig- and Fawkes-sets  contain a mini-fig-size version of the build. Based on that scene, an exclusive minifig could than be Barty Crouch sr.

So, a lot of new sets rumoured. I will believe them when I see pictures.

With that said here are my thoughts:

Hogwarts Carriage: Sounds decent. Like that there's another set to get a Thestral with, since I have the Grindelwald Escape set I might pass, although a Thestral foal sounds pretty cool. I'll say this now, I really hope we get some new Harry face prints as we've had the same Smiley & Angry faces for ages. Luna easy inclusion, since she has the nice scene with Harry and the Thestrals.

Sirius' Rescue: Still think it's strange that film Hogwarts has a Dark Tower for prisoners, but seems like a good set. Really exited for the fountain build as I love that bit of architecture in the films. Annoying though that it will barely match up with the clock tower like it does in the films. That's why I much preferred the 2018 style where the exterior looks just like the films, just with a small interior. Unsure about Ginny's inclusion.

Dumbledore's Office: Like the sound of it, doesn't really fit with previous sets that have included parts of his office. Again with the green roofs not happy about that as I thought the grey was better. Minifigs sound okay, but we've had them all before. Like i don't have many sets but I have like 4 Dumbledore's.

Ministry of Magic: Really happy with this. Pretty sure it will be Order of the Phoenix as Umbridge and Lucius are there, unsure about Dementor's though. Maybe would've liked more of the courtroom/department of mysteries rather than the offices we don't really see in the films. The gold statue(s) is a better choice over the grim stone statue in Deathly Hallows. Wish it wasn't so expensive though.

Advent Calendar: No real info on this, but I really hope it's either 12 Grimmauld Place or The Burrow themed, as we actually get Christmas there, unlike the last AC which wasn't Christmassy at all.

Hungarian Horntail: Not that interested. Didn't love Hedwig, liked Fawkes. Haven't got either (would've gotten Fawkes if I could find it in the UK for a reasonable price). Think Lego are stretching by making another, but it could look cool.

Shrieking Shack: People have wanted this for ages, personally I've never been crazy over it. The room in the film is awesome as everything creaks and sways from side to side. But since that's all we see in the film I'm not sure how much this set can comprise of. So many sets will now have Harry's blue & Hermione's pink outfits so that's a bit dull. (Hagrid's Hut, Knight Bus, new Clocktower)

Dumbledore office - Meh, ok

Sirius escape - another Buckbeak YAY!!!

Hungarian Horntail - Meh , whatever…

I am mostly excited for this wave. As non -completionist, I am happy :) 

Now hoping for Durmstrang Ship and “DA part II.” as D2C.

This sounds like a pretty solid wave overall, with lots of new locations. Honestly tho, none of the sets interest me.

A Thestral set with Harry and Luna doesn't sound too exciting. 

Hogwarts sets sound cool, but again, not exciting because we know what to expect.

Ministry of Magic and Shrieking Shack do sound great, it's just that I am not interested in buying them.

I was excited to hear that we're getting another Horntail, but it's not an upgrade I was hoping for...

So yeah, all in all, except for the Advent Calendar, this might be my first year without regular Harry Potter sets.

You are questioning Promobricks? I mean they could be wrong in some description details and minifigures but otherwise all these sets are 99% confirmed if they say it.

Remember, we've still got another set, a D2C, an advent calendar, and perhaps even a polybag, not to mention that MoM could technically be a DH set

Has anyone heard from @lego_guyon02 lately? He had all the inside scoop in last year’s sets. I wonder if he’s heard any additional details about this year’s. I am over the moon with excitement at this wave, but I have some questions… questions that need answering!

That is a good question I have not seen him here for a while, I hope he is doing okay.

Honestly, I think the biggest piece of evidence regarding the MoM being based on DH is the lack of Belatrix Lestrange. I mean like even during the time when it had been years since I had read HP, the main thing I connected with that scene would have been her, she’s almost the central figure there.

She is basically the main villain in that scene until Voldemort shows up so it is definitely a good point. Also there is no Sirius too which is even more shocking if it is OotP based.

You know, I just realised disappointed I am by the fact that there are no Fantastic Beasts sets.

Why even bother with a Harry Potter theme if you won't be making sets for movies that came out once every few years?
