Side note, anyone know if we’re still getting that book that originally teased Klarion in the description? BrickBob Studpants Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 I’m still not entirely convinced the entire slate of upcoming Superheroes sets is for Marvel Sure, Promobricks lists them as such, but didn’t they do so from the very start? Stonewars have a separate generic Superheroes category for the currently unknown sets, which I’m pretty sure Promobricks never had Quote
NoOneOfImportance Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 I would expect to see something for DC at least, but the question is how much, as it's pretty likely most will be Marvel at this point.. Quote

Exactly. What little we did get last year was spread out [very thinly] across the year, 1966 Batmobile in April and the Tumbler in October. Edited March 13, 2022 by Anonknee Muss Quote

A family of six, colorful superheroes and three ancient goddesses. Manticores, cyclops', harpies, and actual dragons. Interesting ancient locations, and Shazam family's colorful lair. I feel like LEGO won't make sets for this, and I truly can't understand why. Not only is this perfect material for LEGO sets, but the first movie was a hit. Late reply, but it’s possible that The Eternals sets kinda flopping scared Lego off. Marvel is generally more popular than DC and if their sets with a multi-colored team and wacky builds didn’t do well, they’d probably be a bit antsy about a similar DC line. (Though this movie is a sequel, while The Eternals wasn’t, so maybe I’m wrong.) I genuinely think TLBM was the last big hoorah for the DC theme. We got some actually cool Bat vehicles, a bunch of wacky villain vehicles as well, soe neat playsets and a ton of amazing, colorful and detailed minifigures. There’s been some cool stuff since then (another DC related CMF, the small Tumbler and I guess the Bat-Vehicle D2Cs if that’s your thing), but it’s all very far and few between. Quote

That's not it. Quote

Grace Randolph's become a lot more reliable in the past year or so, and given the discovery stuff and all the delays, I think there's a chance. A small one, but a chance nonetheless. Marvel's other sets have sold fine, and I think lego is able to understand that the sets sold poorly due to the film itself doing poorly. The past decade of DC movies might not all be critically acclaimed, but they usually make good money, and that's what lego's looking for. Quote

The designers are sworn to secrecy, they can‘t just blurt out any random hints Besides, if there‘s nothing planned for this year in the first place, we also won‘t hear anything, simple as that. The only time I can recall where the lack of new products was clearly addressed was Vidiyo, and I really don‘t think the DC theme is on the verge of being cancelled. We just need to be patient Quote
