THELEGOBATMAN Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 I also forgot that Dimetrodon will be present in this movie, so I am also really excited for that one. Quote

True. This movie feels like it has more dinosaurs than all previous installments combined, and LEGO can only make so many of them. Fortunately, we have 11 or more sets Quote

Fortunately, we have 11 or more sets Indeed, with the exception of The Prologue (since it's not in the final cut of the film anymore unfortunately), Parasaurolophus has been present in every single canon Jurassic Park thing, yet lego hasn't made it yet (Although I would prefer Stegosaurus haha) Quote
Mr No Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 (edited) Jurassic World getting so many sets this year if beautiful. I hope the line will continue past 2022 since Universal did say Dominion is not the end of the franchise, just of this story with Biosyn. I guess the future films and possible live action show will focus on the new post Dominion world. On dinosaurs that got cut from the film and I wish they didn't, it's Plesiosaurus. According to leakers, I follow leaks of the film production and all thst, saw the mattel toy line already and other stuff. According to a leak I trust, Plesiosaurus was supposed to appear in the film but didn't make the final cut. No idea what scene was he supposed to be, if it was a larger role or just a background appearence. And this dissapoints me because plesio is one of my favorites. Quote

I've only seen a substantial one that mention Plesiosaurus is in the movie (in a Malta scene with boats). Quote
Clone OPatra Posted December 26, 2021 Author Posted December 26, 2021 A question has been raised regarding what we're doing with film leaks in this topic. We don't allow them in Marvel (or DC, not that anyone has brought them up yet), so we shouldn't here either. However, from what I've seen in this thread, for the most part people have only been discussing leaks pertaining to what dinosaurs appear or don't appear in the film. I don't think that's all too spoiler-y, and it does form the basis for speculating about the sets. Therefore, from here on out, continuing to discuss the dinosaurs out of context is fine, but anything that veers into actual leaked plot details of the film is not fine. When it comes to plot details, settings, etc. if it has been revealed in official promotional material and/or cast and crew interviews, it's fine to discuss. Anything else is not. Just like in the other threads. Thanks. Quote

AxolotlPlays Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Sinoceratops and Stegosaurus would also be likely because of their relatively high roles in Camp Cretaceous, also they would be fairly easy for Lego to make with Triceratops and Ankylosaurus's existing molds. Also people like them lol Quote
Lion King Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Any new terrestrial or flying reptiles be great for us to have! However, I don’t think it would be likely for us to have a marine reptile like Mosasaurus, in my opinion. Quote

I'm still miffed about that false rumour from 2018 It can't be that hard to finally give us a Mosasaurus, can it? It's basically the secret star of the new trilogy! Quote

JWD better deliver! To be fair, are any of the Dinosaurs colour schemes right? I mean, don't get me wrong I still like them but a lot of Jurassic Worlds dinosaurs are like grey, for example, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus. And Carnotaurus is sortoff red I think. To be fair they made Indominus a bit more accurate, and they Did indoraptor quite perfectly and the Pteranodons are fine. Quote

Considering Blue is basically the main dinosaur of the World franchise it's just sad that LEGO still hasn't been able to do her justice, 2015 was excusable as it was based on concept art but what the hell was the designer who made her 2018 variant sand green thinking? Most of the time I'm fine with LEGO reusing parts, even when they technically aren't accurate like the Indoraptor legs on the Baryonyx, but there really is no excuse for screwing up the colorscheme of a character design that hasn't been changed since 2015. thekeeperofthereaper Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 so i just watched season 4 of camp cretaceous and it wasnt my favourite season but i loved the kenzi/brooklyn arc and nice twist reveal at the end i thought there was a bit too much of the brads and brad xs but it seems the main theme this time was science/technology v nature one last thing i think cash is secretly a nedry Quote
Koolkoalas Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 So if the release date is the same as last movie does that mean the reveal dates would also roughly be the same? Quote

Mr No Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 February most likely, perhaps after Super Bowl when we should get our first trailer. Quote
