So, this is both the winter and the summer wave list. So... you've basically just taken my list and added three set numbers that weren't even suggested by anyone? Quote

Would love some JP sets next year. It's such a good movie. I shudder every time I consider the first JW movie and just how bad it was in comparison and how much it had fallen back from JP. (Don't mention the sequels though!) But modern day sets of JP would be excellent, and it would be a good time to do it. Quote

I mean on one hand it's rather likely to happen, since it would be weird three set numbers in between, but on the other hand that would mean 14 sets in a single wave. That seems weirdly too big. Saying that, we can't just assume those sets are coming. Someone would have to say it first. No one has said anything about it, so for now, we assume they do not exist. Quote

What if only half release in april, and the other half in august. So we got 2 waves. Quote

BrickBob Studpants Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Just keep in mind that these sets were initially supposed to be released in 2021, along with the 4 CC sets 18 JW sets in a single year sounds completely ridiculous if you ask me Quote

For example, Transformers Rise of the Beasts got delayed to 2023 and Hasbro has to delay the gimmick toy line to 2023 too (some might release this year) and those toys are not accurate according to leakers, meanwhile the Transformers Studio Series which is all about screen accuracy was set for release in 2023 anyway because the designers are only now getting the final designs. So Hasbro will now release both accurate and not so accurate toys in 2023 with the film. I wouldn't be surprised if the other sets are just the ones that were meant for 2022 before Dominion got delayed. Which might be another confirmation that JW will continue past Dominion as a theme into 2023. Quote

Werent there 13 sets for fallen kingdom? (Thats including junior sets) but also things like brickheadz or that exclusive t rex released under the Jurassic theme in one year. But also I agree that we can't just assume things without proof (probably not the right word but whatever) 1 hour ago, BrickBob Studpants said: Just keep in mind that these sets were initially supposed to be released in 2021, along with the 4 CC sets 18 JW sets in a single year sounds completely ridiculous if you ask me Well I mean, 14 sets in the first wave and 4 sets in the second wave that were left just so there was something to release so Lego wouldn't have to produce so much in a relatively small amount? Still dominion is going to be big so I guess it makes sense for more sets but I know not to get my hopes up lol. Quote

It‘s going to be big, but that still seems like overkill. Not even Star Wars or Marvel get this many sets just for one film That‘d be more sets than for all MCU sets in a year combined Quote

Also, maybe they want to release them because of the hype. JW is a top seller for Lego, wouldn't be surprised. FK had lots of sets too. Quote

That's my interpretation anyways. Quote

Sure, but 10 sets is already more than enough for a single wave What I‘m arguing against is the existence of four additional sets Quote

Haven't seen that one yet Or did you infer that based on the gap among the previously known numbers? If so, gaps like that are quite common and don't necessarily mean anything Actually, 76952 has been confirmed by Azani nearly a year ago (hence why it's on my list on the 1st page): On 1/3/2021 at 3:14 AM, Azani said: I'm aware of nine sets for JW/JP (Dino), 76944-76952. I just filled the missing gap because I thought it makes sense. Set numbers don't always follow logical patterns though. Sometimes numbers are skipped entirely, at other times the releases are jumbled in their order. Look at last year's Star Wars sets: The rumoured 75303 still hasn't been released yet and the apparent gap between 75316 and 76319 has already been filled by two sets released a year prior Those set numbers could easily be reserved for 2023 sets. Another reason for skipped numbers is sets being cancelled, since their numbers aren't always reassigned to other sets Quote
lego_guyon02 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 76952 has been going around for a while but still has neither a price nor a piececount attached to it's number, which we do have for the other products, so take this set's existence with a grain of salt for the time being. Sets 76953 - 76955 are in no way confirmed, that's just an assumption (as you were all quick to point out). For what it's worth I can confirm 76943 - 76951 and 76956 as definitely coming out sometime next year, which isn't yet the complete lineup. Quote

They look confused but also wield defense so I suppose Owen catches dinosaurs seen by that image with the parasaur, and Kayla transports them since it was confirmed she's a pilot. Anyways, my point is that they look like they've encountered something they weren't expecting, and I think I remember Blue was in the snow from some protional stuff like wrapping paper or something I can't remember, so this might be what's happening? Most likely not haha but it's fun to speculate. Edit: wait they are looking up at something, not blue then lol Edited January 7, 2022 by AxolotlPlays Quote
