those head spikes aren’t new they were on the indominus mould when it first came out in 2015 it’s just they look new because they are black and the ones on the indo are white and the black on white colour scheme stands out more than the white on white colour scheme

so can please everyone stop saying the gigas head is a new mould because it isn’t

Oh your right. How did I miss that?

I assume he means the diorama.

I’m perfectly aware he is talking about diorama since it’s only one new Jurassic Park se we have.

But I have no idea which glass piece he is talking about.

Which one?

Oh on the roof of the ford explorer, i think i remember someone tried to make a replica of it but said it wouldn't be accurate or something because lego could just make new molds like that glass piece

Isn‘t it just this windscreen piece from Speed Champions?

Buildable Alan Grant minifigure apparently, also Giganotosaurus and Therizinosaurus are blurred out haha

Great find.

I am leaning more towards buying two smaller sets (Pyroraptor and Quetzalcoatlus), cause then I'll be able to easily complete the OG trio.

Nice of them to include all characters in cheap sets (or books too in this case)

I found it from a Jurassic World Evolution 2 discord server haha.

Ah yeah, that's money efficient I suppose, though I can't help but wonder that the Alan Grant figure could be a 1993 varient, probably not but we'll see lol.

The bestselling activity book and minifigure package ties into the new 'Jurassic World: Dominion' film.

Nah, it's not the JP variant.

Ah great find, or should I say grant find lol

That should mean that the Henry Wu minifig is the only exclusive one in the giga and theri set.

True, although I think it would be nice to have a more accurate version of him with longer hair and no beard. But not before a Dodgson figure, did Lego really forget the main villain lol?

I wonder if Dodgson would show up in set next year? Well, I don’t know anyways. Still it’s a shame there is no Dodgeson minifigure in this wave.

But heck, I don’t care about minifigures or builds, I will go get prehistoric speices (but I will  get T-rex Breakout diorama and these Dominion variants of original trcharacters!).

Well I mean there is no evidence to suggest sets would even exist next year, although with the reception I've seen to these sets I think they might sell quite well. Though I'm not sure if that's an indication of whether or not Lego would continue this theme.

That’s why I said “I don’t know”, lol.

I beg to God that the theme will continue. My shelves for JP: TLW and JP III sets are a bit empty right now...

Btw, I'm a liiiiiiiiiiittle bit disappointed about the Giga; his spine looks a bit too 'spiky' to me if you compare it to the actual one, and it should be much closer to his neck. Not a big fan of the way his eyes are literally looking up, because it makes him look a bit clumsy

The spine is too big but if the intent was to make it a more reusable piece so that they can use it for Spinosaurus in the future, I'm okay with it. A lot of the LEGO Dinosaurs suffer inaccuracies for the sake of part reusabillity, so I've pretty much come to accept it at this point. For example, as desperately as I want a grown up Bumpy using the glorious Ankylosaurus molds they came up with, I would frankly be shocked if they bothered to remold the Ankylosaurus head/body piece slightly just so she can have the short horn on the left side.

If anything it's the reuse of the Indominus head that bugs me more, though it definitely has a similar look and makes sense. Maybe if they had done something a bit different with the eyes? I don't know, it still looks great overall.

Yeah actually, looking back at it, the spikes are connected which is a bit strange though it might just be for safety reasons (doubt that though because, they would be blunt anyways and Lego already has sharper pieces), artistic choice to make it more lego-fied, or maybe even like moulding capabilities but I'm not entirely sure about that, someone more educated would have better knowledge if Lego finds it harder to mold individual spikes etc. And also the actual body looks to be chunkier and generally just high, so i can see a Spinosaurus getting a stripe print there so the sail looks higher, so they probably did make it that way to reuse, which is good right? cause that means if they made it so it could be reused for Spinosaurus that means the theme could be continuing?

I guess it's a good thing that there is a high chance we're getting Spinosaurus (next year?). But I'm not the biggest fan of them reusing that body piece with the spine, since it's too small for the Spino's one, I know Lego has done a lot of inaccuracies around dino's but I think it would be a bit too out of place for him.

Why couldn't Lego use more models from the game?? Take the Ankylosaurus as an example; you couldn't even tell it's the same guy if you compare the two.

Chance of a spino I like

chance of getting a spino but with the current mould I don’t like

the spine is too small but i will properly judge it when I get the set but for now it’s too small for a spino

I think it may make sense for Spinosaurus to show up in a future next year (???).

I mean there was a Spinosaurus in Camp Createous series so let’s say there would be another wave of Camp Cretaceous sets if we don’t get Jurasic Park III set at all.

I would say it’s a good chance.

Of course, it’s just my opinion, not a single solid evidence, mind you…

Agreed. The models in the game look pretty easy to make in real life.

Oh and I love Lucca’s Lego dinosaur artworks. They look so great - Lego should hire him to desgin dinosaurs.

LEGO Giganotosaurus and Therizinosaurus | Jurassic Park | Know Your Meme

Yeah it is small, but, I mean it could work for Spinosaurus. Just needs a new head mold and the newer indominus arms and it would be new species that a lot of people want, and I would literally die for the lost world and jurassic park 3 sets.
