Well I mean, they are promoting the movie, it makes sense for them to go all out and make the lego themes logo, the dominion logo. Doesn't really matter too much lol

I mean yeah ther will be Dominion sets but it’s unccesary to change logo on S@H if there are / will be Camp Cretaceous sets. I think a metallic gray logo suits for all sets, lol?

But whatever. I like the yellowish amber logo one more than metallic gray one.

Well, the Dominion logo looks much better and fits the franchise perfectly with the amber, unlike the other one. I hope they'll officially change the logo to this one for Jurassic in general.

Especially since we are moving out of the theme park direction. The Dinos are free, and the logo should reflect that.

Kmart has all the sets (except the polybag) listed on their website, including the set Lego hasn't revealed lol.

https://www.kmart.com.au/search/?searchTerm=lego+jurassic+world

Edit: The Jurassic Park set is also absent which makes sense, however the Pyroraptor set is also missing, a bit strange lol, but I'm sure it will be on shelves.

The Pyroraptor set is being sold online at big w if that helps anyone

https://www.bigw.com.au/product/lego-jurassic-world-pyroraptor-dilophosaurus-transport-76951/p/204399

Also I'm relieved the Giganotosaurus set isn't ridiculously priced lol, I was really expecting a $260 AUD price tag, but Kmart has it for $170 AUD which is cool, glad it's reasonably converted haha, not like some of the other sets

Also worth noting that the Blue set is actually cheaper at Big W.

All of the sets at big w are cheaper, I hope this doesn't mean they are going out of business. That would suck

What is Big W?

I think it's a store chain in Australia... could be wrong though. I do know we have exactly zero locations of the chain in the USA, @kram847.

Yeah, I’m not very familiar with store chains anywhere outside USA. I thought KMart went “extinct” in USA (it’s where I’m from) but Australia still has KMart.

I only know UK has Smyth, that’s it.

Yeah, bigger Woolworths basically lol, basically just like target, though they are disappearing unfortunately.

Also there has to be more sets now right? They can't have just missed the main characters like Lewis Dodgson, Barry and now the new character Ramsey. The other two Atrociraptors I can understand why they didn't make but still, very odd.

That would be a great idea. They could make a smaller Blue (with the Atrociraptor mold) vs another Atrociraptor, and give us Dogson and Ramsay. Dimetrodon would be nice too.

Yeah, I would be interested interested seeing Blue and other velicraptors coming in Atrociraptor mold one day. Velicoratpor is pretty oversized.

Yeah I’d also like to see

spinosaurus

allosaurus

sauropods
parasorolophus

stegosaurus

Pachysepholosaurus

mososaurus

when I have all of these I will be complete for my Jurassic park

That would be interesting lol, 2 of the same species but with different molds in the same wave of sets.

So i guess that Mattel toy means there will be like a blue vs red haha?

I got every set that was on the shelf lol, both juniors sets, both Atrociraptor sets, the blue set, triceratops set and Quetzalcoatlus set. Not bad tbh, now I just need the polybag, Pyroraptor set, Giganotosaurus set and the Jurassic Park set. Also it's safe to say I will run out of room now haha

That’s awesome!

why is it safe to say you run out of room? That’s quite funny lol.

Anyways, what do you think of the dinosaurs you just got?

They're both cheaper and free shipping from Big W. I ordered mine this morning.

Np

Uh, idk, isn't it a saying lol? Like your confident enough to make a statement maybe?

Yeah, the sets are awesome, they all feel nice to add to my collection, I have a different perspective to most of you as far as builds go tho, because I collect Jurassic World exclusively (with the exception of the 2012 Lego Dino dinosaurs).

The dinosaurs and flying reptiles themselves for the most part are similar to previous releases I suppose. Atrociraptors are basically like the juvenile Dilophosaurus, but their molds are cool, I like how sleek but at the same time, bulky they are. However I must say, the orange and brown Atrociraptor (either red, tiger or panthera) looks a bit.. derpy? But only really if you look at it head on (like if both of its nostrils are straight to your face I mean). But other than that they are cool figures, only really needs more articulation but that's the sacrifice that's been made to have more accurately sized figures I suppose. Also ghost the Atrociraptor looks really cool and menacing, kindoff like a small version of the 2015 Indominus rex.

Velociraptor Beta is really what you'd expect, it's still cool nonetheless, but nothing too special.

The Quetzalcoatlus is just awesome, it is so weird having a giant pterosaur just sitting next to the other Pteranodons, just absolutely dwarfs them. I love it's colour scheme, reminds me a lot of something like a pelican I suppose. It also unfortunately suffers a tiny bit from a lack of articulation, the wings being able to move like 360 degrees or whatever it would be is cool but its head always shooting up as it's placed in a sitting position really takes away from the figure overall, quote disappointing how just 1 Little neck movement could entirely change someone's thoughts on a figure. But overall I am extremely grateful and glad Lego created it, I would have never guessed they would do a Quetzalcoatlus, it is very awesome.

Then I guess it's just recolours, let's start with the triceratops, obviously it's meant to be a Nasutoceratops, unfortunately Lego didn't make a new head mold but whatever, its still a cool triceratops whether or not it has the skin of a different species, it's assymetrically printed and you can tell by its scars all around its body. Maybe this is supposed to be an individual dinosaur in dominion. Next I want to talk about blue, she is amazing! I love how Lego has her colours correct, and the printing of the assymetrical stripes on her eyes. The little details of like creamy white I think it is on her legs and body stand give her a bit more detail so it's not just a bland grey colour, and I think it just makes her look beautiful. An amazing figure, the only problem being that this time she's too big haha, though i dont care too much about scale, it's not like the movies themselves are all that consistent anyways lol. The Pteranodon also just has a nice colour scheme, creating more variety amongst your flock of pterosaurs, ever since the movie came out I remember seeing the Pteranodons with different coloured crests, and I always wanted more colours like that. And especially when the Lego Jurassic World video game came out, I enveyed so many creatures and the colours from it lol. Also the little babies from the Atrociraptor ghost set, they are very unique and interesting looking, a little bit strange looking albeit but still nice additions for anyone's baby Dinosaur army if you were to ask me. And someone pointed out, can't remember who sorry, that it's supposed to be a fighting ring in the set, and from the trailer

Carnotaurus and Allosaurus fight, and if you look at the colours of the baby dinosaurs they are similar colours to both of those species, so maybe Lego was just teasing a little

lastly, the Tyrannosaurs, the normal one which comes with the orange Atrociraptor, is a nice colour, reminds me of coffee beans lol, kindoff murky gold colour with a creamy white underbelly make it look quite fitting for Malta tbh, overall I like it. Then the juniors rex, I like it lol, its colours are so like bright it just feels so nice, a more vivid(?) And especially contrasted with the dark brown patterns makes it stand out a lot, this one reminds me of mint ice cream haha. Or like the 'gallimimus' (I have just called it ceolophysis lol) from the 2015 polybag, has similar colours and patterns.

Anyways those are just my breif thoughts on them, any questions about the figures just ask me, have a nice day.

Yeah haha, I was hoping to find them at Kmart and, well as you know, they were there, 7 of them anyways, I want to go out to more Kmart's and hope they have the other sets, at least the Pyroraptor and Giganotosaurus sets, I doubt anyone could find a Jurassic World polybag in Australia, though saying that I have clear memories of seeing other themes polybags at Woolworths, but that is too hard to track down so I will probably just get it off of eBay or something. Then the Jurassic Park set, either just buy from the Lego website itself, or go down to the new Lego store that opened in WA.

@AxolotlPlays, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us on these prehistoric creatures! I won’t be surprised that Quetzalcoatlus making Pteranodons look so dwarf-ish - in reality, Quetalcoatlus is a larger pterosaur. However, I agree with you - we have ONE Quetzalcoatlus while we have MANY (recolored) Pteranodons. I hope we would have a recolored Quetzalcoatlus in future.

Just a week until the sets release :excited:

I've decided to buy T. rex Breakout, Quetzalcoatlus Plane Ambush and Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport. Can't wait to get those sets.

I can’t wait!

I am more leaning toward Quetalcoatlus Plane Ambush and Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport sets. I will save some money for T-rex Breakout diorama.

I will try to buy some dinosaurs from the sets separablebly.
