A single piece mold for a baby Brachy(Firecracker perhaps) along the lines of the baby Triceratops would be great.

Maybe that would fit in nicely with a Gentle giants petting zoo set with a baby Trike and stegosaurus?

But I think he's too large to be made of one piece only. Maybe an additional neck + head piece would do, like the Gallimimus.

That’s exactly what I thought about additional parts for Brachio.

a gentle giant petting zoo set sounds lovely.

Ok, I may be a bit late, but it seems that it has been basically confirmed that we will be getting JP sets next year!

This is literally such great news for JP/JW, because this is already saying a lot about in which direction TLG wants to take the theme.

Wooooohooooo!!! It’s a great news for sure. :)

Now we will see more info about it later.

So, the Avatar 2023 sets has been revealed and there is many new creature molds that I feel could be used for new dinos. Set 75576 has a new head and jaw piece useful for an ichthyosaurus and set 75575 has a new head and jaw piece useful for long neck dinos. If you want to see the images search in the usual place.

True, those sets look very nice, but I think I prefer the last wave tbh.

The head mold from 75576 looks nearly perfect for an Ichthyosaurus (and maybe other) sea creatures since we really need aquatic species. What I'm not very sure about is the head from 75575, it seems very tiny for a sauropod, but perhaps it could work for a possible Plesiosaurus(?), although they don't really make an appearance in the movies or CC except for the games.

Like I mentioned before, I'm actually hyped for the upcoming JP wave coming out next year, and i've started working on some set ideas drawn on paper. I think I'll share some next week and hope to see what you all think about it.

Agreed.

But i dbout Jurasic World theme would reuse these Avatar creature molds. Becuase Avatar is owned by Disney and the compnay won’t let TLG use these molds in other non-Disney themes like Jurasic World, Overwatch, in-house themes, etc. I my be wrong tho.

Hmm, it looks like there will be Jurasic World 4 and 5 i LMS? To be honest, I have no idea but I really hoe Jurasic world theme  keeps going on…

Well, that was unexpected. I actually didn't think this was going to happen, and that there would be a fresh new trilogy, maybe even a prequel to what happened before JP, but nope. I do wonder who the new director will be, but hey, more movies, means probably more sets and Owens.

I hope this won't battle the fact that there will come sets based off of JP at least next year, and the speculations about future JP TLW and III sets, since there is a higher chance that they will be going for new movies instead of those ones. But because the theme makes great profit, I was wondering that maybe they could make 2 waves a year? Like 1 based on older movies and 1 on the new one. Although that probably won't happen except for marvel, HP, and star wars.

I guess here we go again with the rotten tomatoes, lol. :shrug_oh_well:

Agreed. it was very unexpected, indeed. It is kinda weird - they just had a big finish for OG trio but this 4th and 5th films?

Anyays… I’m quite excited about new dinosaur molds but I’m not so thrilled about Owen and Claire minifigures…

i do preer Jurasic Park sets over Jurasic World ones.

Where have you seen that? Couldn‘t find anything.

I don‘t think they‘re a reliable source.

Yeah. That was my first thought. I just don’t want Jurasic World theme to be discontinued if there are no planned films after Dominion. Ah well…we will see about next year.

All I want to see next year is an Allosaurus figure that uses a new mid body mold bigger than the 2012 raptor body but smaller than the T-Rex body.

oh and a mosasaurus would be cool aswell

Same here. I am in favor for mid-sized body. I think Carnosaurus will need that mid-sized body too.

and I know some of us ask for Stegosaurus, Parasauroplus, Sinceratops and a few herbivore.

Like the baryonyx body but the exact same shape as the Rexy one could work, just downsized, but carnivores enough if you ask me lol. (Except for spino)

I'd love to have a stegosaurus in a (possible) future TLW set.

Exactly, a t-rex body downsizing to a mid size would do great for Allosaurus! lol, I do preer herbivores more, although i want Spinosaurus so bad.

of course, you would be delighted if there is a new lego stegosaurus.:) And a baby one, please.

Not really a huge fan of any of the Jurassic World movies, but I'd probably buy a set based on the opening scene from the second one if it had the mosasaurs, the submarine, and the indo rex's skeleton. They could even throw in the helicopter to help reach their undersized chopper quota for the year.

A mosasaurus mold’s size may be close to T-Rex’s body length, just a little larger than a City great white shark. Just my opinion.

Wait no, mosausaurus is at least on and a half times as large/long as Rexy, that would be way too short, he dragged the I. Rex into the water with ease in the movie. That being said, is probably the reason they haven't made him yet.

If it would be a set thought it would probably be the lagoon arena (around 300$ UCS maybe??) , they are just made for each other for a set tbh.

I was saying that if we want mosaurus to be more larger, it would be more difficult for TLG to develop mold. Same for Brachiosaurus. So I think mosaurus mold size as lengt as T-rex body may be reasonable.

So…buildable mosaurus may do fine ten.

That's why I said that's probably the reason they haven't made it yet, and the size being as large as only the T. rex's body, would probably be way too off from the actual size, even for Lego. Maybe him being slightly bigger that the Giga we have now would do the job, since that doesn't sound too ridiculous.

I think a mix of bricks and moulds would look pretty good on Brachiosaurus? Like they did with fluffy from HP only the head (and maybe in the case of Brachio the legs as well) were molded.
