I don't think Fallen Kingdom had a lot of things they could make into sets so I'm not surprised they made some things up for them. But Dominion is a film that will take us around the world, with different locations so I think Lego has enough material from this film to make into sets.

The sets, as all waves for new movies, are most likely going to be a mix of things from concept art Universal provided and a fair amount of creative liberty on the designers' part. Some of the builds will surely be based on or loosely inspired by something from the movie but there's bound to be a lot of non-movie stuff in there as well.

so i have not been following the news lately what is the big bad main dino going to be , is it a natural one or genetically created one

i think there may be a slight chance we could get one or two building centred sets like the lockwood estate one

From our knowledge it's going to be Giganotosaurus

Cool, thank you! I suppose we can just say it's sortoff confirmed that the sets will release in April because there have been like 3 different sources now right? (Of course I believe sets release different depending on where it is?)

Second half of April. The exact date could vary tho.

I wonder if the sets would be released globally instead of Europe alone.

I mean, in 2020, Europe got JW sets first a few months before USA/Canada could get sets. 

In 2021, CC sets were released worldwide.

2020 sets could release whenever because they weren't based on a movie.

Dominion sets will release everywhere more or less the same.

With NYTF cancelled...when will Lego reveal the sets? After the trailer? Or at Nuremberg (if it's still happening).

NYTF is cancelled? Oof, I suppose it'll be at a different toyfair since these sets are for a movie so they would want a grand reveal of sorts. Nuremberg makes logical sense but probably just double check with someone smarter than me like guyon.

Edit: forgot to say why these sets should be at a convention.

LTF will happen (as they’ve confirmed on Jan 5th) while the fate of the Nuremberg toy fair is still up in the air. They seem to be confident, but we shall see. To be honest though, TLG don’t really need toy fairs to reveal the sets. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they just put them on s@h around the time NYTF would’ve taken place

That's true I suppose they have done it for other films like the Marvel sets I think, or the batman movie if I recall correctly. What would you prefer? Revealed online or at a convention?

On that updated list it gives the 2 juniors sets the codenames 'dino 1' and 'dino 2', what does that mean haha?

Yeah, we shouldn’t pay too much attention to these code names. Just because they’re labelled differently doesn’t mean they’re not based on JWD as well  While there is speculation about non-JWD sets being part of the wave, but there’s no tangible information to support it

Yeah I was just curious why they were given codenames in the first place. But there is one thing about the updated list, 2 sets are missing along with all of the prices? That's a bit weird right? Cancelled by Lego? Forgotten by the person who made the list? Never existed in the first place even?
