Capn Frank Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 My favourite type is Jarlsberg. Is that a type of Swiss? Gotta go Pepperjack  Me too! My favorite Pepperjack cheese is Black Diamond. It's very spicey , and tastes great on almost any Chicken or Burger sandwich. Best non-Lego topic ever. Italics mine. Ppl like JimButcher and I are from Wisconsin are HUGE fans of cheese. Every small town has at least one cheese factory. Go Cheese heads! Quote
UniqueBuilder Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Is that a type of Swiss? Hell no, it's Norwegian, you heathen!! Quote

Cheeseheads, UNITE!! More lackeys in the ever growing cheese spread, oops i mean army! Come fellow EBers we need you to rally to the cause of this flavoursome fatty treat, unless of course you are a Vegan Lego lover then i fully understand! I prefer cake, myself. You seem to raise a valid point about Cake, i may have to investigate further! Quote

Athos Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Depends on what you're using it for. On a hamburger, I prefer an American and Jack combination. Or swiss. On a cheesesteak or roast beef sandwich, I prefer provolone. On mexican food, I like a chedder and jack blend. On pizza, you got to go with Motzarella. Generally, I like swiss, jack and chedder. Depending on my mood. Steve Quote
commanderbly42 Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 *Begins drooling.* and a fine cheese it is, goes well with my ham and avocado sammies.... Ham and avocado? But yes, it is a fine cheese, whether it be toasted or not. Quote
Freddie Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Mmmm, cheese. I've got several favourites, depending on their use; for hamburgers, I use cheddar. In the final stages of frying the meat, when I'm done with turning it around, I lay the cheese onto the meat while it's still in the frying pan/grille. Gives by far the best result. For ham and cheese sandwiches, I prefer Jarlsberg. For pizza, I prefer swedish Gräddost. Unless it's frozen pizza, where I'll use Mozarella if I'm not satisfied with the amount of cheese on it. And finally, for other occasions or just as a snack: The Laughing Cow cream-cheese. Very good, but also very un-healthy. Quote

Wilhelm screamer Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 (edited) An incredible large picture of cheese! American! Edited June 26, 2008 by ImperialShadows Here at EB, we love cheese, but we love it when it's presented in a reasonably sized picture that doesn't kill our connection. 640x480 is enough for a good cheese shot, don't you think? Kahgarak Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Mozarella. It's delicious, especially on an Italian Caprese sandwich . Quote
iamded Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Well, I like a good Edam cheese between 2 slices of bread, then toasted to perfection. Ah, good ol' toasted cheese samiches. Then again, Camembert goes wonderfully with chicken and cranberry... ~Peace Quote
Scyzoryk Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 I love cheese as much as I love pie! Mozzarella = Quote
Wout Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 I Like most cheeses, not only the dutch, but also, belgian, french, german and swiss cheeses. and Feta ofcourse. and I ate a cheese for children in Denmark called "Lillebror"which was also very nice. I don't like blue cheese and dutch komijnenkaas (I don't know the word for dutch herb komijn). My first Edam cheese I eat on holiday in England. Quote
Eilif Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 My favorite kind of cheese is Ghetost. It's creamy brown a Norwegian Goat cheese that my Grandparents introduced me too. I'm not sure how they make it -I think whey is involved?-, or if there are similar cheeses, but I love it! It's so creamy and almost sweet, it's like a dessert. Quote
iamded Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Camembert goes fantastic with chicken and cranberry sauce. Mmm... CCC... ~Peace Quote
NewRight Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Blue Cheese on a juicy hamburger. Delicious! Quote
