Fey'lya is a prominent family of the Bothan people. Lego Bothan Assault Cruiser by LukeSkybuilder, on Flickr As the Bothans grew tired of constant Imperial aggression in their home system, they begun a military program focused on building ships to defend themselves. Their impressive Assault Cruiser was built to be able to go head to head with Imp Star Destroyers and having access to Mon Cal shield technology through the Alliance to Restore the Republic allowed them to do just that. With the Empire gone most of these ships now serve the New Republics Navy. Lego Bothan Assault Cruiser by LukeSkybuilder, on Flickr NRSC battle group E3-Blue is known to often operate near and among the core worlds. The Group consists of the Pride of Fey'lya (Bothan Assault Cruiser), The Virulence II (Nebulon-B7 Attack Frigate), an upgraded CR90 Corellian Corvette, three upgraded DP20 Corellian Gunships and a smattering of starfighter squadrons of various builds and designs. They have been seen flying K-Wings, Y-Wings, X-Wings, A-Wings, Z-95 Headhunters and many other less famous fightercraft. Captain Neem Fey'lya (female Bothan) of the cruiser commands this battle group and their top squadron of pilots is named The Wasps. The Wasps are famous for flying K-Wing Bombers but they often fly other craft as well (it is rare the full squad is flying K-Wings). Their fighters are often painted with black and yellow caution stripes similar to the ones that are required on K-Wings due to them being dangerous to work around for mechanics and people working in hangers. This model is built at a 1:2100 scale, as are the others ships in the first picture (cruiser is 850 meters which translates to 50 studs in length). Edited January 7, 20223 yr by goatman461
January 1, 20223 yr Wow, great build, the shaping is excellent and while it is not a common design it really fits with the SW aesthetic, and some nice detail and greebles included despite the overall sleekness.
