It's a critical prelude to the most important announcement of all the announcements that were supposed to be made last year but weren't made until this year: Count Lewisham, the Salida Este magnate you've never heard of, is running for Admius Legistrad of Eslandola's Colonial Council! Jimmy: Come one, come all! Come see the great, the magnificent, Count Lewisham, candidate for AL of the mighty Eslandola! Count Lewisham promises to raise taxes if you want them raised and to lower them if you want them lowered! Timmy: Count Lewisham promises to faithfully represent his constituents. Jimmy: Isn't that just what I said. Count Lewisham continues to stroll through the arch in dignified silence. Jimmy: Count Lewisham promises free handouts to those who want welfare and more defense spending to those who want warfare! Timmy: Count Lewisham promises to improve the economic and national security of the country. Jimmy: Isn't that just what I said. Count Lewisham stops in the middle of the archway in dignified silence. Jimmy: Count Lewisham promises to keep foreigners out of Eslandola except for the ones he lets in! Timmy: Count Lewisham promises to have a caring foreign policy. Jimmy: Isn't that just what I said. Count Lewisham continues his walk in a dignified silence. Jimmy: Count Lewisham promises to maintain global peace with everyone except for the people he goes to war with! Timmy: Count Lewisham promises to have a wise foreign policy. Jimmy: Isn't that just what I said. Count Lewisham decides to speed up his walk in dignified silence and get away from onlookers as fast as possible. All right! This is my official "run" for the Sea of Thieves seat in the Colonial Council as well as Admius Legistrad. Come January 31st, vote Count Lewisham! He's just what everyone wants! As for the build, that was inspired by Bart de Dobbelaer's recent use of azure. Was fun to use those new swirly minifigure stand things as water fountains too! C&C welcome!
January 11, 20223 yr Very nice fountain and monument. I like that the monument was integrated into the fountain. The swirly minifigure stand goes very well with the fountain because it looks interesting. Count Lewisham makes many election promises. Edited January 11, 20223 yr by NOD

January 12, 20223 yr Yes, somebody steps up for the council! And he appears to promise everything any minifig could want. The build itself is also very well done. Lots of SNOT work, and the swirly pieces are fantastic in the fountain. Combined with the vines, the build has a lot of elements that get away from the blocks. Very nice! And the expressions on the minifigs are excellent, as is always the case with your builds!
January 14, 20223 yr Your azure use is the best yet in BOBS for as far as I remember. A really tough color and not that "manly" . Of course Barracuda Bay changed my mind, still I consider it a really difficult color to use other than sea/water. I can't recognize those dark blue parts at the sides of the arch (are those what you called minifig stands?), still they are very impressive! Nice minifig parts too! This is Salida Este right, so any color fits! Yes, the dark blue swirly piece is actually called a "minifigure pedestal" by BrickLink. They came in some of the recent Ninjago sets.

Who are his friends? Who are his enemies? Does he play poker? Does he drink? Has he gotten into some nasty business that we could use against him? (shady friends off - they've got enough todos for the time being)
