Interesing!

I think at this point its safe to assume the colors from Series 1 to 12 are the ones chosen for the CMF line. From those only red hasnt been reused

Doesn't even go that far back.

Pink only started to become a "girly" colour in the 50s. Largely popularised among girls and women in the US by then First Lady Mamie Eisenhower.

Through American-imperialism/global-Manifest-Destiny/cultural-exportation the idea of pink, and other colours between red and blue, as intrinsically "female colours" spread across the world.

I hadn't noticed that. Back in the day, I was surprised they used red bags, given how the Lego logo and the Series logo both are red. I imagine that's probably why it doesn't get used anymore.

Interesing fact… didn’t notice that.

I lost hope for that a long time ago. The part that annoys me the most is, even if we get purple bags now, for most of the rest of the colors we only have the original style bags (not the larger ones). I guess I'm one of the few people that saves a bag or two for each series, and I am sad that my classic bags will never form a full color spectrum.

Lego Movie 2 bags were purple

The only difference the packaging color makes to me is the hue of the top layer of my trash can the day I find them.

😁

Same!

Thanks for the heads up, Roebuck! From the description, it seems they plan on revealing the list of characters. Too bad I don't speak German, but hopefully a kind soul who does watches it and translates for us soon.

I watched the same live-stream a couple of weeks ago for over 2 hours in German (that I do not speak) to get the news about the castle. Someone was translating important stuff in the chat and promobricks even had a count down to when they would talk about the castle so it was rather existing  However if you can wait and have better things to do the info will leak out shortly after from leakers watching the stream..

Exciting news! :excited: I wonder if it really is an anniversary series, as previously rumoured! A best-of from the last couple of decades could really be fun

It’s the goat series. 12 goats designed in the style of classic minifigs … Johnny Thundergoat, King Kahukagoat, Cheerleader goat … 😂

I feel like the Series 23 is gonna be released in August instead of September if we will know the list that much earlier.  But we will see.
