March 14, 20159 yr Very stylish. I have a suggestion for supplementing the blasters, if you're amenable: The regular Lego rifles (like in Western and Adventurers sets) could just about pass as the Senate Guard rifles. As far as a vehicle goes, I would actually suggest the "Cad Bane's Speeder" set. Throw the stupid bounty hunters overboard and you have a standard Coruscant airspeeder. Plus two more Senate Commandos for the ranks. As far as sets go I can also see the Police Gunship working. ...Alternatively, in lieu of vehicles you could make a Senate Building Entrance for them to guard. I completely agree with Zelda. A basic Senate Building entrance could be a great thing for them to guard, and maybe get one or two of those "Cade Bane's Speeder" sets, and you could have them in front. You could even make it into a display/MOC. Anyway, nice army, Sev. Edited March 14, 20159 yr by James Wellington

Thank you very much I don't like the "stud shooters" but, like I said in my previous posts, I'm running very low on Blaster rifles. I don't have a lot of "Western-styled" rifles (only the pirates ones and not even in great numbers since I don't want to take them from my Wookiee army ) Sadly I can't simply find the Cade Bane speeder at a reasonable cost. I'm back to the Lego hobby after a long absence and I lost the chance to acquire many interesting sets over those years) A for the Senate Building Entrance (or something like that) is indeed on my "wish (or "to-do") list" As soon as I find the time to dedicate to some MOCs ( it's a very frantic period for me) Thank you again for your comment I completely agree with Zelda. A basic Senate Building entrance could be a great thing for them to guard, and maybe get one or two of those "Cade Bane's Speeder" sets, and you could have them in front. You could even make it into a display/MOC. Anyway, nice army, Sev. Thank you very much I'll try to add some scenery soon. Too bad I can't find that speeder at a reasonable cost. Anyway I'm glad to read the army still look nice even without vehicles and scenery, which one day I'll make sure to add
March 29, 20159 yr Hi :) New here! Here is my Star Wars Minifigure collection and my home-made shelf. http://www.swebrick.se/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=7780.0;attach=30997;image http://www.swebrick.se/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=7780.0;attach=30999;image The picture is a few month old and I've made som adjustments. Feeling sad every time I need to replace a figure. Next time, the shelf will be bigger :)
March 30, 20159 yr Very nice display. I love the lights. Maybe you could have figures stand behind each other in the spaces between them so you could fit more figs? Or have them on a little platform behind the first row. Might solve your replacing issue.
April 2, 20159 yr Here's my display set-up: http://imgur.com/a/IgUgu I really like the minifigure stand I made but the one downside with it is that I don't have any minifigs to display with the Ewok Village, the Death Star or the Hoth Echo Base.

April 2, 20159 yr Impressive collection. A lot of UCS sets and Minifigures Is the Falcon the legendary UCS one? Btw great collection, indeed Thanks No, the Falcon isn't the UCS 10179. It's actually the 7965 but with a lot of gribbling added - I thought the original look was a bit plain so I decided taking some bricks and tiles I have and add some detail. Plus, it gives it a more "UCS" look. I might make a topic about it some day to show it from different angles Edited April 2, 20159 yr by Terrasher

May 3, 20159 yr Wow, thats what I'd call an army! Great display and great collection. Congratulations. Thank you very much I wanted to use a better background, perhaps a little MOC but I'm in very hectic period so I was unable to do it. However I really wanted to celebrate May the 4th and so I thought I took the photos. Thank you again for your words and I'm glad you like my collection May the 4th and the Brick be with you
May 27, 20159 yr I have been accumulating quite a few Imperials, so I recently lined them up in parade formations and took a couple pictures: http://imgur.com/a/9W2Dl I know I'm not alone in doing this. How many of the rest of you have your stormies all lined up in neat little rows?
May 27, 20159 yr Hi Raskolnikov, that's a nice collection of Imperials! For future reference we have a dedicated 'Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display' thread (here); I'll merge this with it in a bit. Cheers, Robin
May 29, 20159 yr Hi, I started taking care of my Star Wars Minifigs earlier this year, after seing them gathering dust in a corner. Eventually, I started collecting them by buying a few sets that were still available. My goal here is not to get them all, but rather to get every important character in the trilogies. I've rounded them to about a hundred per trilogy so far. I also want to present them in the form of a frame that'll eventually get on a wall. Here is my progress so far, with the original trilogy. There are two types of engraved tiles : black 1x4 with the name and round flat silver 1x1 with the episode the Minifig appears in. The background will eventually be completely covered with scenes/decor from which the Minifigs are from (as seen with the Death Star in the upper left corner). I've rendered a first test of this: With the following legend: I don't plan to hunt for old sets, I'll get whatever comes out from now on. I also have a few minifigs planned that have never been Lego-ified at this point. There will also be a separate frame with the beasts. For the original trilogy: a Tauntaun, a Wampa, a Dewback and a Rancor. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think. I've made an article on my website that I keep updated with my progress: http://bj51creations...collection.html Thank you for reading. Edited May 29, 20159 yr by bj51
May 29, 20159 yr Love that, one of the best I have seen Excellent work, I look forward to watching this progress
May 29, 20159 yr Absolutely FAN TAS TIC. If I were to make one I'd change one thing: for the backgrounds I'd use the old kenner cardbacks. PS: nitpicking me: one nametag isn't right: it's TIE pilot, not Tie pilot. Edited May 29, 20159 yr by Jedi-Bendu
May 29, 20159 yr Thanks! PS: nitpicking me: one nametag isn't right: it's TIE pilot, not Tie pilot. Yep, I've seen that as I posted it. I'll change it when i order the tiles for the Prelogy.
May 29, 20159 yr Thanks! Yep, I've seen that as I posted it. I'll change it when i order the tiles for the Prelogy. Wait. What? They're actual printed tiles? Not stickers? That's [*censored*] awesome!
May 29, 20159 yr Wait. What? They're actual printed tiles? Not stickers? That's [*censored*] awesome! In fact they're engraved, but the picture don't show that very much.
May 29, 20159 yr Hi bj51, that's a very impressive display, I'm looking forward to seeing it progress. There's already a dedicated 'Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display' thread (link); I'll merge this with it in a bit. Cheers, Robin
May 29, 20159 yr BJ51, if you don't mind me asking, how much did the engraving cost for all those parts? I've been wanting to do something similar (nameplate wise) this might just become the ruler I use to measure my own success against down the road!
May 29, 20159 yr The guy who did it for me charged 1€ for the 1x4 tiles and 0,25€ for the round 1x1 tiles. That's about 135€ in total, with a few 1x1 engraved in spare.
June 23, 20159 yr I guess I am one of the weird collectors who keep his stuff unopened. There is no reason to post pictures of boxes but I can add two pictures with some minifigs that took me some time to collect. Edited June 23, 20159 yr by Hartfan
July 14, 20159 yr This is not mine, but it is one of the best display cabinets that I have seen so far. I am going to have to get me one. http://minifigpriceguide.com/wordpress/wow-i-think-we-just-found-the-star-wars-minifigure-display-world-champion-best-display-case-ever/
