TheDarkness Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Some awesome looking armies and minifig setups have been posted on here lately. Great stuff! I really haven't been adding any minfigs to my armies, LOTR kind of got in the way Quote

Fuppylodders Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I am totally jealous of that cold weather force rogueang! I've started building up a little mini snowtrooper force of my own for a MoC... yours would fully outfit it brilliantly xD Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 You've got a great Snowtrooper army, awesome for a Hoth MOC Quote
Rogue Angel Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I'm planning a Hoth MOC..... someday. I've got a design for Atgar Laser Cannons and Golan Batteries which I've been picking up parts for via Bricklink. I only have one AT-AT so far though, and I was planning on designing a larger, minfig scale version (even though the 3 releases so far have been minifig scale, they are still too small IMO. Those are going to take a while yet. I might throw together an Echo Base perimiter MOC though, we'll see. Quote
ledzepfilm Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I'm a lazy searcher, so if this topic has any recent thread, please guide me to it. Brickdoctor Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I'll merge this with "Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display", which is used for showing off collections. (even if you don't include pictures) Quote
Fatteh Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Yup, huge collection. Nice, but in the context of a number of collections shown in this thread it's probably more of a good start. Quote
will Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Just thought I'd share my new OT minifig display. It's not by any means a complete collection but a selection of the more well known characters. There's a still a few I'd like (Jawa, Greedo etc) but I'm running out of space to display my collection and was limited to the size of the this display, so I've just included single variations of characters (apart from two Lukes). I had to leave a few characters out as well. Oh, and I blatantly copied the design from wokajablocka's display case, so thanks for the inspiration. Edited August 16, 2012 by will Quote

Thanks to Will and Wokajablocka in advance! Quote

Nice little display Will, and your more than welcome to copy my design. Its nice to see some one inspired from one of my creations. I've been playing with the idea of making a display for each movie from the original trilogy but still trying to deicide how to make the next two displays Empire strikes back/Hoth style and Return of the Jedi/Endor style. Skyhopper Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 New member here and fairly new on collecting Lego Star Wars. I have a laser cutter at work and have planned for a long time to make a display case for my minifigs. The display still need paint (can´t decide on gray or white) but I´m happy with result so far. Go for grey, the white would contrast too much with any Stormtroopers or Clone Troopers you put on it. Quote
Rogue Angel Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Here is my droid army, consisting of 100 battle droids, plus officers, and 30 super battle droids. (I have approximately 20-30 additional supers with broken legs and arms - they are by far the worst lego figures I have ever owned because they are so fragile.) Quote

Hellfyre Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) Hi, I keep the majority of my LSW collection in these two display cabinets. I have an IKEA one which keeps another portion of the collection. These three are always out, no room anywhere else for them. And they are pleasing to the eye. Here's a closer look at the PT display. I have most of my battle droids stored away in a box because they keep falling over and there's no room for them on the CIS shelf. And at the OT stuff (and everything else that needs to be sorted) A link to my flickr if you want to see closer pictures flickr Edited August 20, 2012 by Hellfyre Quote

I make you collection look twice as large. I was trying to see if you had another AT-AT behind in the Hoth display but I noticed it was the refection. A good way to instantly increase your collecting x 2 . Nice collection BTW. Quote

At first, I didn't like the mirrors, but then I noticed that it does enhance certain displays such as the Hoth one, making it look like I have more in my Imperial arsenal It's like the economical way to army-build... Rogue Angel Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 So my friends came to town for the weekend, and I had to reassemble all of my star wars sets for their kids, so I figured I'd take a few pictures while I was at it. First my Clone Wars starships: My Separatist Ground Forces My Republic Ground Forces And most importantly, my Imperial Ground Forces And a few pictures of my Star Wars Legos set up for the friends' kids I still want to get a couple more hailfire droids, a couple more droid carriers, at least one more Geonosian tanks, and some spider droids for my separatists. I'm also planning on making my own version of the tank droid, but that's still a ways off. My Republic army is pretty good although I'm still a little light on figures and I need another 1-3 swamp speeders. My imperial force is still in dire need of more AT-ATs, but I want to mod the original and then BL the parts for a couple more. I still have some work to do with my Imperial Fleet and my Rebel Fleet, and my Fringe forces. Quote
