Thanks for the nice comments!

@TWP: the fighter tanks were designed by Chris Deck (sw.deckdesigns.de), and I agree the MTT's should be much bigger. I hope to modify them at some point so they can fit a whole squad of 1x1 droids / tan studs.

Anyway, to finish showing my army, here is a picture of my minifig collection. It's small but growing!

Very nice army BlueXes! A really good amount of Separatist droids and equipment!

A fantastic display Warmaster! As Lobot said, that is one stunning Venator you have there.

Well, after 4 years, I think I pretty much crush everybody's Clone Wars collection. I really don't think many of you can beat this:

These pictures were taken in March 2012, I'm constantly updating it to make is bigger, so I'll have another update next year doubling the size of this.

-2,287 Clone Troopers

-278 Vehicles

AH GAGAGA!

HOLY SHRIMP!

your armies are always impressive! BTW, when's 2013's army vid coming? just curious.

Everyone, we would like this to be a thread where you include pictures of your collection now, since it is far more interesting for people to read when there are pictures. I realize that in the past just text was accepted, but I think everyone will enjoy it more with pictures. If you don't have time, or there is some other reason why you can't take pictures at the moment, please just wait until you can, and then make your post. :classic: Thank you for your consideration.

Can you make a thread for lists then please, it's not fair on people who want to share their armies and A) cannot take pics B) cannot upload pics and/or don't want to take pics - just a thought

It isn't a right to paste off a list of generic SW sets... Nowadays it is easily possible to obtain some sort of imaging capturing device for £5+...

Pictures are much more impressive and nice to look at than a list of words...

Actually read the entire post please

Not everyone likes to post pics or wants to post pics and again not everyone owns a camera or wants to own one and not everybody likes to upload pics - you don't speak on behalf of everyone either

But then it doesn't mean anything because we can lie.

As it stands I have the largest army here...200,000 minifigs and 7,000 vehicles. Got some great shots of them all but don't like to upload pics.

I did read it. Perhaps you should try reading mine properly.

That is why I said nowadays it is possible to pick up some sort of image capturing device for £5+. It is way affordable that 'can't afford one' isn't really a reason. Don't want one/don't like uploading pics is just kinda lazy.

I have my army that Id love to post up here. But half of it is packed away due to no room at the moment, and I wont have room to get it all out until about 2 years time. But Im going to hold off listing it as that doesnt really show anything other than a list of sets which is kinda boring and less impressive than pics.

There is absolutely nothing stopping you from creating a 'List your own army/navy/collection' thread. So rather than whining about it, why don't you actually do it and see how it goes? It may well be what a lot of people want.

The worst that could possibly happen is a mod would lock it/close it. But I don't think that would happen to be honest.

You can still lie with pics! You can post a collection that isn't yours but someone you know! You can also state that it's not all you have when it is! THINK!

Looking at past posts in here I can see that others have tried that only to have it merged into this thread

This topic is for posting of pictures: as the title says, "show your army, navy, and collection display". If you don't want to take a picture of your collection, remember that you don't need to show it off - most members probably won't even comment on it anyways if it's just a list. EB is a forum for discussion of LEGO and, as such, we encourage the making of posts which will inspire discussion, and lists don't really do that. Thanks! :classic:

You do not know that people won't comment on it and maybe some people want to tell people how many figures they have without showing it and yes lists do really do that

All you have to do is look at the other members' responses recently: lists are skipped over and are not interesting.

From the EB Member Guidelines:

Staff: The staff are here to help you. Do not debate staff issues with them. Feel free to make suggestions as we are happy to hear them, but if you are told that something is against policy, the discussion is over.

If you wish to continue discussing the purpose of this thread, feel free to PM one of the staff. Right now the rule remains that lists are off-topic and do not belong in this topic, nor do they belong in any other topic in this subforum.
