Try ACTUALLY READING MY POST INSTEAD OF SKIMMING IT, PAL.

I'm saying that those sets would have been IMPROVED BY STICKERS. The Hailfire Droid's outer eyes aren't supposed to be level with the central eye, they're supposed to be on the sides of the upper part of the "face". Which, if Lego hadn't suddenly decided "Lol u no get stickers you get parts that r blank 4ever" for certain sets, would have been easy to do.

I have about 40 Imperials right now and growing. I'll show some pictures once I get a few more minifigures and vehicles.

That's nice :classic:

With Imperials do you mean Officers etc in addition to Stormtroopers? It would be very interesting since Imperial officers are not a common sight in most of the armies I saw.

Actually even Imperial armies are not very common since most of Lego Star Wars armies are Republic Clone Armies :classic:

It's officers and Stormtroopers, pilots, etc. However I have quite a few officers and growing. I just want to get a few more troops and officers before I show so it looks nicer ☺

It sounds very interesting. The new Stormtroopers battle pack is amazing for any Imperial army. I have to say I also like the Officer from the Advanced Tie Prototype :classic:

Yep. Can't wait to show it. Only thing I don't like about the TIE Advanced Imperial Officer is the thing on his hat, which is meant to represent a character in SW Rebels, but I still wish it was a normal Rebels Officer with no symbol on the hat.

Nail polish remover will sort that out for you. Or maybe just rubbing it with your thumb, depending. Tampographs can be rather weak to skin oil. Torso prints are a bit hardier it seems, but face and headgear prints...

Thanks for the tips. That Imperial Officer will be fixed (hopefully) soon.

I know what you mean. The Minifigure would be more "usable" for army building without "personal marks".

You can remove the markings as suggested above or you can "pretend" it is a the insignia of some "special unit", the choice is yours :classic:

Just a normal eraser? really tht simple

I use the eraser of a Ticonderoga pencil. Just be careful when the eraser gets really worn down because the the metal part can scratch the minifigure.

would a normal pink eraser work? under running water or something?

ok but how would you get sharpie off if you messed up without ruining the printing under it?

It's actulally really easy. Take a dry erase marker and go over the sharpie with it. Then, take a damp paper towel and wipe it off. You might need to do it a few times, but it works well. I've used it a few times.

Get some alcohol swabs from your local pharmacy shop. I sharpied a bunch of snowtroopers many years ago. When I got all my lego out and started to clean and reorganise everything, the rubbing alcohol completely transformed them, they look like new. I'll fetch some comparison pics in a sec. The areas that were sharpied mostly had no printing, but the printed parts that were swabbed are unscathed. Only some very light grey printing on a very old stormtrooper that was worked on with the alcohol for over an hour took any kind of damage, and all that resulted in was some almost unnoticeable fading on the belt area. Rubbing alcohol swabs seems the best way to go for sharpie cases. Like others have said do not use nail polish remover.

@atlas Indeed, nail polish remover is for when you're actually trying to get rid of the tampographs (I used it to scrub an "escaped convict" torso clean of printing as part of converting it to a worker torso), or are getting rid of paint (as I had to when turning my Galactic Marines back into Snowtroopers); in the latter case, be very careful and finish the job with rubbing alcohol just to be safe.

My sincere apologies. Irritation at your skimming was no excuse for venting my accumulated frustration from the day on you.

Well, I suppose I should come and share my own Star Wars minifig display. The nice thing about this setup is that it's entirely modular, each minifig has it's own personalised stand that can be removed and relocated, so it's easy to add new sections. Handy for when new releases come out!

Super-large version of picture here, and since I don't mind if people borrow this idea for their own personal display, LDD file

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the seemingly blank bits of paper behind each minifig is actually a washed out image of the character the minifig portrays. Easy enough to make.

Very impressive display and thanks for sharing the LDD file. I don't have LDD currently but you have been very kind in sharing it :classic:

I see you have the Revan Minifigure, well done.

Just a note: It has been confirmed the Sith from the Defender Jedi cruiser is not Darth Marr. Of course you can use the Minifigure to represent whoever you wish. Mine is just a "powerful Force-user". He can be a Sith, he can be a Jedi with a la Revan mask (I'm sure many of us here know there is a story behind Revan's mask  )

Btw it is one of my favorite Minifigures :classic:

Ah, well I read a Brickset review that said a name for the Sith Warrior could be Darth Marr, so that kinda stuck. But yeah, I try and name those that are assigned with generic names (also since I use images from Wookieepedia for the diisplay, it's more useful to search named characters. I think I nearly named the Ithorian Byph or something like that, in an attempt to identify it. The Ithorian's stand uses Byph's picture anyway but I do know it's not close enough to be him unfortunately).

I was actually quite disappointed that Revan didn't come with a reversible face print when it came out last year (I remember having thoughtful conversatons with some friends on Brickset, who collect Star Wars more than I do, about the figure actually and they agreed). But that's another discussion entirely.
