KimT Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 OK, I admit it. I had to use some blue-tack on one peice but that's all! That's allowed. Now do the same to the UCS MF Quote
Legoman Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 That's allowed. Now do the same to the UCS MF Hmmm.... Yea...na. I'm fine thanks Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Wow legoman you have a big collection! how many figs you have? Quote
Legoman Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Wow legoman you have a big collection! how many figs you have? Yeah... That's what you end up with after many years + much $$$ As for figs... I would say 400-600ish. Not really sure to be honest Quote
Future74 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 You won't be dissappointed "you were right, you were right about me, tell your sister... you were right..." Thanks for the new pictures. And a big collection it is. Very nice setup using fishwire to hang the aircraft. You have some big sets hanging. Never any doubt they might fall when cleaning for dust? I see you've gotten some inspiration by KimT's way of storing his collection Quote
L-space Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Nice job! I love the way you reorganised your stuff! Can you upload a pic of you hanging lego please? Will love to see the way you do it the hanging ones: The Slave-1 is now hanging from a fishing wire, the normal thread broke crashing it to the ground. So I had a nice rebuild but went for something sturdier to hang it from. A big plus is that the fishing wire is hard to see. You can get it at various strengths meaning there is always an appropiate thickness. And you can be sure it stays up. Quote
pr0visorak Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Thanks for the pics! So I see now that if you want to hang anything... You must use fishing wire Quote
Legoman Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) I see you've gotten some inspiration by KimT's way of storing his collection Not quite. I have display shelving which i display what i can on, but the rest... well.... Goes into Icecream container's and draws Everything with a carpet backround is usually in a draw, but has just been taken out for pic's Sadly this is how my collection is displayed: Displayed? You call that Displayed? Yes... that is very sad BTW The folder is public! Here 'No you will witness the full power!' Edited February 21, 2009 by legoman Quote
-JD- Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) Wow. You guys have some awesome collections. I have been collecting for a few years now and I only have around 300 minifigs. I have a few older sets from my friends who have gone off LEGO, but my collection is mainly from 2004 onwards. I wish I had the 1999-2003 sets as well. posades Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Alright don't laugh guys, but here is my modest collection: It's currently located on the top of my dresser drawer in my room back home. I have a couple sets displayed in my apartment as well but nothing too big. I have some generic Jedi thrown in with my Clone army too (...is that Indiana Jones? ). What do you think of my non-CW Anakin? I didn't want to use any CW faces (don't care for them besides Ahsoka), so I ended up using Mutt's face along with Anakin's robes and hair. Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Very good army posades! and why didn't you want to put Clone Wars Anakin in there? Quote
posades Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Very good army posades! and why didn't you want to put Clone Wars Anakin in there? Thanks Commander Cody; I dunno, the Clone Wars heads don't look right to me with their oversized eyes. I wouldn't mind if they were all CW style, but I don't like mixing one and the other and since I have more regular heads that's what I went with. Quote
L-space Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Alright don't laugh guys, but here is my modest collection: Don't worry. We all started that way. So there's hope for you yet. and bricklink, ebay and many, many more Quote

Doctor Sinister Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Been spending more money, so here's my Republic Clone Army - updated pix as of 21/02/09. Consists of two AT-TEs (sets 4482 and 7675), two Republic Gunships (sets 7163 and 7676), a Juggernaut/Clone Turbo Tank (set 7261), a Clone Scout Walker (7250), a Republic Fighter Tank (7679), a V-19 Torrent (7674), a V-Wing Fighter (6205), an ARC-170 Fighter (7259), an AT-AP Walker (7671), a Republic Attack Shuttle (8019), 5 Clone Trooper Battle Packs - less the Speeders as I don’t like them (7655), and 6 (so far) Clone Walker Battle Packs (8014). There are a total of 82 Clones here. 4482 - 2 Clones. 7675 - 2 Clones. 7163 - 2 Clones. 7676 - 2 Clones. 7261 - 4 Clones (includes one on the BARC Speeder). 7250 - 1 Clone. 7679 - 2 Clones. 7674 - 1 Clone. 6205 - 1 Clone. 7259 - 3 Clones. 7671 - 2 Clones. 8019 - 2 Clones. Plus 12 Clones riding the Walkers from the 8014s and 46 ground troops, 20 of which are from the 7655s, 12 of which are from the 8014s. There are 48 old-style Clones, of which 40 are of the Clone Wars type with the new helmets etc, and 33 episode III style Clones plus 1 BARC Trooper. All Clones have the more recent SW style LEGO blasters - I upgraded all the older style weaponry. More reinforcements will be coming. Dr. S. Quote
ILikePi Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Nice collection Dr. S! Your clone army will soon help you dominate the universe. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Impressive. Slice the amount of clones in three, and minus the ARC-170, Juggernaut, V-wing, and pod-walker, and you get what I have. Quote
ILikePi Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Lol, minus everything except the V-Wing Fighter and one Clone Troopers Battle Pack, and that's my Clone "army". Quote
KimT Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Nice army Dr.S You could also have posted it here I hope the inhabitants of Tabletown behave or they'll surely be in trouble against this Quote
Millacol88 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Very nice army. Is it complete? You ought to make a huge diorama of all your CIS troops versus all your Republic ones. Now that would be awesome. Quote
LegoFranks Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I have the same, minus a few clone battle packs! Some very cool designs among those sets! Next up will be the AT-OT/LAAT-c... M. Quote

Now that would be awesome. Yeah, I've got a load of stuff still to build for my CIS army, I'm on holiday this week so I'll try to complete it then and post pix. Maybe have both sides in the same photos. Dr. S. Quote

Erm, more Droids I think, probably as many vehicles but they aren't as large as the Republic ones - so it doesn't look as impressive. That said, I've got three small Droid transports, a Hyena Bomber and the new AAT to build so maybe once they are put together it'll look better. I'm also looking forward to comparing the new AAT with the original. Probably do a picture in the garden or something. Dr. S. Quote
