For all those UK members who may be interested 7666 Hoth Rebel base is back in TRU.

I have had reports of it in various stores and it is in stock for order direct from the TRU website in the UK.

Already got the Hoth base and its pretty good for minifigs and the Snowspeeder!!!

For some reason I got 4 Blaster RIFLES instead of pistols but that's a good thing.

I expect that at least a few people would like to hear this news Brickbitz, thanks

I hope someone will post when they see Clone Wars or Agent sets in the UK!

It's on the US TRU site too. Not sure whether or not this is new, but thought I'd put this here as well. I still probably won't buy it though, $60 for a $20 gate and a $20 speeder just don't seem worth it to me.

Might it not hace been a glitch in their webstie? I've not seen any in the 'flesh' this year.

Wouldn't have thought so, it's only appeared just recently on the site. When I searched the TRU website recently during the Indiana Jones promotions there was no 7666 on there at all.

Also a friend picked one up down London way on Saturday and confirmed there were a few on the shelves. Not sure which TRU it was though, but this is what made me lookup their site again today.

Maybe people have checked out the link today and brought up the current supply? . I nearly added a couple myself when I first found it , but I gotta save for that Death Star ya know.

If either of you fall over an extra 7666 Hoth Rebel base, it would be super cool if you could by me one or two sets, they where never to be found in Denmark, and I would love that set. I am on the straight shooter list.

On shelves in Leeds TRU on Saturday also.

Thanks, good to know... if it ever goes on sale. £40 is far too much. :sceptic:

This also has reappeared in the midyear Australian catalogue so it looks like the re-release is general.

Still not worth it though - and the price is even worse here - $AUD100, or about 48 GBP.

My nearest TRU is about 50 miles away and I don't drive. So i've ordered it. £39.99 (plus £4.99 delivery  ) seemed an ok price to me - some hard to find figs and a rare set. Wasn't it more expensive when it was first released?

I am supposed to be saving for the Clone Wars sets though :sadnew: but i'll be so glad to finally get this set

Like the amazing new Death Star playset, I thought it would be a set i'll never own!

For those who live in the Dudley - West Midlands area, Toys R Us Merry Hill had some in staock as of yesterday.

Unfortunatly, I'm on a Lego ban after last weeks trip to LL Windsor :hmpf_bad:
