Hello everyone!

Here is a Batmobile inspired by the one seen in the Arkham Asylum game. I built this model a few years back and based it off the model by The Incinerator14 (unfortunately their Flickr seems to be gone now). My requirements for this model were that it must fit a Batman minifigure in a somewhat seated position and the cabin has to be able to open without removing parts. I was also able to make it shorter than a Batman figure and I included a detailed interior.

 

I like how the model does not seem oversized in a picture like this alongside a Batman figure.

 

I like how I got that modified part in there that covers up the bottom of the windscreen, kind of makes everything close up.

 

The top hinges up at the back and the front also hinges up a bit to give clearance for the windscreen.

 

A profile of the Batmobile. I only had the fenders in dark grey rather than black so I decided to just embrace it and put dark grey trim around the entire model.

 

I like this shot with Batman's ears sticking over the top just to show that it is actually a reasonably sized car.

 

Front shot, I think the stud shooters fit in pretty well.

 

Rear shot, you can see the hinges for the windscreen and I like the shaping on the taillights.

 

An interior shot, I was glad that I could fit in a steering wheel and some consoles.

 

I was able to fit a lot of storage so I've got some batarangs and a grapple gun in there.
