i clicked on #2 as well, but I dont hate bionicle really. there are some interesting elements, and they can be used in lego stuff too. ball joints in particular you know?

I voted for 2 because I am just not attracted by Bionicle. However, I was surprised to see some fantastic Bionicle Mocs (especially BFS incredible Mocs). I enjoy watching those Mocs.

Its funny to see some Bionicle haters who voted 2 :D ;)

Well, I can't say that I like the actual bionicle sets as I think they are stupid. But i really like some of the parts and the range of mobility in them.

So, I picked 2. I would have said equally but the sets are not so great in my opinion.

Now playing near you "Revenge of the VCVC" only in this case Yoda lay the smack down on the darkside. Way to go xwingyoda! |-D

I am a Bionicle fan but I don't have any hard feelings towards anyone who doesn't like it. It's just a preferance. I voted I like System more however because there is just more of it and you can use it with all lines, well mostly, interchangeabley but with Bionicle you can only use it with technic and other Bionicle sets unless you use special System bricks designed to merge Techinc and System.

And a comment to vcvc, that's why you were banned and again :| .

To be fair with the Bionicle antagonists, I will admit I've been pretty disappointed about the cloning in sets (even though the designs themselves are really cool). Hopefully that issue is gonna be cleaned up next year.

I love both, but I prefer system by a tiny bit. More creative, for me at least.

Au contraire. I just got my Vikings sets in - if you count clips, pneumatic T-pieces, and those Designer set hinges as SYSTEM, there are very, very few technic pieces (albeit the ones that are there are usually larger than the other pieces in said creatures).

Are the creatures in the Viking sets actually Bionicle though?

I would say so, but since I don't own any Vikings yet, ( *devil* ) I may change my mind when I do get them.

I have grown to like bionicle for the flexibility it has (you haters should see some of the contest entries at BZPower), but my true love is system.

Does technic count as system? Should this be another entry?
