The Port of Montevidiyo is my first real Pirates MOC, except it's Vidiyo so I don't know if that counts :pir-laugh:

I just really like the Vidiyo figures.

This is an awesome port! The Vidiyo figures are kind of like an updated Fabuland that works with standard minifigs.

Awesome build, love the colours, foliage and trees, the 3 goat flex ;), and the use of vidiyo characters.

Does the building open on one side to reveal what’s inside? If so, is it decorated?

:pir-laugh: The use of Vidiyo heads is brilliant and the result looks so delightfully fun.

I almost wonder that with the completely outlandish color scheme of most of the Vidiyo sets (which I love BTW) if you couldn't have gone equally outlandish here!

Alone, the port scene is superb. The architecture is great, the details wonderful, and the small "Wolfpack" schooner perfect. Add in the humor element of Vidiyo heads and it's over the top. Well done.

Can you add more photos of the ship?

Although I generally don't like small ships, yours is amazing! :pir-stareyes:

Sure, I just took some photos of the sloop by itself.

So... you got an LDD or whatever other program for that ship?

I don't, but I can share some WIP pictures.
I started with the shape of the hull, and filled it in from there.

It's worth frontpaging on Eurobricks - whatever it is!

It looks fantastic, and the building technique of the sloop is interesting and (from my point) worth studying more. :pir-thumb:

Quick question: how stable is the sloop? Is it only for display or this construction could survive light play by say careful ten-year old?

It sits stable enough with gravity's help, but it's not playable. The whole back half is only attached to the rest of the hull by one hinge plate on each side. Gravity holds it in place, picking it up will warp it out of shape :pir-laugh:

Magnifico ! maravilloso ! Good moc and very nice chip with his sea base and the great tower. But the minifigs head ... the children are not fans. The rest of your creation is really wonder.

I think the shape and the curves are well done, and it would certainly be a shame not to take a few tries and convert this into something solid and playable.

I already have a small vessel on my mind which would be perfect candidate for the experiment. I'll let you know, maybe this year, how that turned out :pir-huzzah2:
